My '03's headlights aren't working, glad I found these videos before I went and bought a whole new damn switch. I'll try this and keep my fingers crossed.🤞

I have same bike having same issue took it to shop they was telling me 500$ to replace it I said no came home saw this video did it my self for 5$ and a hour and half thanks for this video it saved me some money thanks again

What's up richsquad, I have an '02 600 GSXR. I got it used and only the high beams worked. Now the high beams randomly cut off. I opened it up and the previous own already cut the wire exactly like this video. The middle of the connection was burnt out just like yours too. Any advice as to what to do next? Should I re-cut the wire & re-connect them?

can you please show me where to adjust the headlight vertically? I've looked in my manual and all over the internet and I can't find the damn adjustment. Only the horizontal.
I don't think there are any issues with straight wiring it. However, if you ever need to go in there for whatever reason you will have to recut your wires to accomplish whatever needs to be done.
I have the same bike yesterday my headlights was working i checked the fuse and is good changed the bulbs and still not working but my highbeams work so i will check the connector to see if that is the problem
I have an issue with my 2002 gsxr 1000. Only one headlight come on at a time. I thought the low beam is suppose to stay on at all times but when I turn my high beam on, the low beam turns off? Is it suppose to be like that?
I'm pretty sure once you switch on the highs it cuts out the lows. Don't quote me on that though. When you're switched to the low position does you lows stay on? I had the issue of the lights not coming on at all when switched to the low beams but worked in high.
I had the same problem with my 2002 gsxr 750. I ended up doing the same thing you did. Also had the black inside the connection. It's not fun to drive home at night with no headlights.

Good video. I had to do that to fix another issue(no power). That same harness was the culprit. Snip, snip, rewire with a 30 amp fuse and good as new.

what color is the lights wire.? Is that yellow.?
I think the head light wire is the yellow one.
I had the exact same issue with my fan on the radiator. Stupid wiring harness.
had to do the same with mines
2002 gsxr 1000 same problem..jammed my glove in the harness to get home one night.. i think my problem is the ground tho not the yellow wire

I have this same exact problem. Go to high beams and nothing. Switch back to low and the low works. But not the high beam. And my bulb is good.
