Having Amanda fight is a no brainer. You know she’s gonna give plenty of content with the training, the behind the scene and a post event analysis, and her fan base will show up to support women being feral
The friendliness, or rather, lack of rivalry was really nice. Especially since this was a charity thing. I think the "rivalry" in all these other events is just too fake, to the point of being cringey. The one thing this event did better than others was taking the source seriously; the creators I follow all posted their fitness updates ad how they were preparing, which was really heartwarming to see. They could all say their lives improved by getting healthier. Would love to see you in the line-up next time!
It’s rather dismissive at the hard work everyone put in to start pointing out advantages. Like Michael having the “unfair” advantage because he’s younger, but Minx having the “unfair” advantage because she’s older. Everyone tried their hardest and did their best. But isn’t it a competition, someone has to win.
Yes this unlike the other fight really wanted to support the sport. Boxing like football historically has been one of the sports that helps ppl get out of bad situations and lift up not just the boxer but their community.
it kind of depresses me that people don’t know any of keith apicary’s work to the point that he’s billed as dad even for a fight. his old dance videos and physical comedy reels were amazing, as well as his ambush interviews.
@@SOOKIE42069 I mean it seems like he was billed as "Dad" because he wanted to be? He has videos on the Dad youtube channel about the match, and when he came out he was acting in character, I think. He even wore the tie, lol. I think he's just really committed to the bit
just wanna say according to his podcast, they pulled matt out super early because even though he didn't realize it at the time, the medics could tell he got a pretty serious concussion from those first couple head punches.
Just a slight correction Harley’s costume wasn’t inspired by a final boss, it was the character “Big Boss” from the Metal Gear series. And Arin’s “the one who wins” is a Game Grumps reference where he would playfully yell out “I’m the video game boy…I’m the one who wins”.
So I enjoyed the fight because there was non of the fake drama. I loved that they all really tried their hardest and it was such a great event. Also, the production was amazing, it was so fun and I’m so down to fly to Florida for next year because I think there is going to be a 2nd one.
13:33 Allie screaming "Let's go Arin!" Is fuckin' amazing. Once a Grumps producer, _always_ a Grumps producer lmao EDIT: My roomie and I are fans of Arin, Michael Reeves, and Dr. Mike, and fairweather fans of Dad and Harley, so we _definitely_ showed up to the livestream for the whole thing.
@@castlegarden2999 I did not suggest she did lol. Creator Clash isn't a work scenario for her, tho, so the expression works. Sorry if I scared you lmao
Wow, I truly do not know any of these people aside from Minx lmao. But despite having zero interest in these people and boxing in general, this event seemed fun and was for a good cause, so why not? It definitely proved that boxing events don’t have to be centred around douchebags.
You should def join the next clash! DM them on twitter they're looking for folks! With your style of content I'd love to see the whole journey of all the training until matchday. I definitely liked that all the rivalry was all in good fun. I think it helped a lot that after these creators got done punching they hugged it out. Especially Ryan and Alex's fight. It brought some much needed sportsman ship to the event!
Definitely didn't need rivalry or beef. How chill it was was 90% of what got me interested in watching. The other 10% was the people in it. Agree though, definitely needed better marketing.
Creators that fought were paid to compensate for training and travel and the time they put into preparing. But some of them donated what they were paid.
Erik's (Internet Comment Ettiquette) physical transformation over the last few months has been amazing. Everyone was super committed and serious about competing. Erik was also there to hug.
I personally don't think there needs to be drama, it's actually why I loved this clash. Everyone was there to fight but not beef and that's what made the fights so unique. And personally I think you should fight Christine from Simply.
This was one of the most positive events I have ever been too. The people were nice, the Creators were nice and most people there were just there to have fun. Its very rare you get an event like that. Definitely will try to go back.
Loved the fact that there was no rivalry, watched Mykull on Stephen's podcast and they were talking about the upcoming fight very amicably, it was great. Charity was the real winner.
Dad was amazing at marketing his fight. He made sure all his followers knew about the fight for at least two months before the event and built up so much hype
I've rewatched Michael's fight a lot and I thought I saw her recording his walkout. Immediately checked her Twitter, saw she was there, and have been waiting on the video since lol!
I heard of the event through Internet Comment Etiquette and was glad overall I only saw positive feedback on the event, seemed like everyone had a good time 😊
every time i see a creator boxing thing all i can think about is that episode of jenna and julien’s podcast where they enthusiastically agreed that they’d fight each other for a million dollars
I know Idubbzzz said on the Philip Defranco show that if you want to be a boxer, to DM the creator clash twitter. Their DMs are open and they'll consider you. You should absolutely message them Amanda!
What you said about unequal promotion from the fighters seems really true to me. I follow both Dad/Nathan and Michael Reeves and Nathan posted multiple times as both himself and in character as Dad and I was very aware that he was going to be fighting, but I literally had no idea that Michael was involved at all until I heard about it afterwards.
The lack of cringy beef and massive fragile as glass egos made this so much better. I loved how wholesome it was. Fighters giving each other respect before and during the fights. The hugs, smiles, and compliments after each one. It makes boxing much more approachable to new people.
I think calling Michael Reeves a chaotic machinist sells short just how much of a gremlin he is but that was a pretty fair fight. Experience is often a big factor in boxing-it’s something investment dude may have had more of so age was irrelevant IMO. But yes please more gorl matches! Maybe start casually training so for the next event you can pop in and say ‘Im a bit of a boxer myself’ ❤️
I was in the livestream for creator clash and it was so much fun! I personally liked that there wasn't any forced rivalry but I agree that there should've been more build up from the creators themselves. Ryan and Alex's fight was hype as hell and was kind of a Rocky moment. The chat dubbed Ryan the Iron Giant and boy did he live up to it. Minx and Haley's fight was another gem and I really liked that you mentioned the national anthem. It was a glorious trainwreck that just kept a dumb smile on my face the entire time. Overall an unexpectedly great time for me as someone who was never into watching sports in general. I got my money's worth and the only issue I had was that I and some other people thought there'd be a mystery fight bc of how the website advertised the matches. Oh and there was like 0 moderation in the chat until like 2/3 of the way into the event and the moderation was pretty bad even then. Luckily it was only like a few people just spamming the n-word, but it's just crazy that momenthouse refused to ban them. Didn't know you were so down to scrap lol I'm def here for it
You’re right about competitors doing videos leading up to the event. Harley and Sam Hyde’s training videos were fantastic. Truly never thought Amanda and Sam Hyde would have any common ground lol.
idubbbz uploaded the full stream of the fight to his YT channel. It really was a full house. But I’m not surprised. Because all the fighters were creators with good reputations and very large followings. Mostly adult fans too, not kids. I like how professional it all was. No trashy fake rivalry.
As a lifelong boxing fan I'm actually really happy these fights are taking place. Some of these guys look okay which is no easy feat, boxing might be the hardest sport on earth. Hope this helps breed some true fight fans!
Something of note about the posters and representing your respective content creator was that the security detail for the event had mixed signals on the inclusion of signs. While I was in line to enter the event, several people with homemade signs were turned away at the front of the stadium (my assumption being that the event venue didn't want posters to obscure the view for other guests) however the application of this rule wasn't applied evenly as there were some posters across the crowd.
Dad and Matt Watkins did do a little trash talk but overall I liked seeing the creators interact with each other before the match whether it was joking trash talk or a genuine conversation, like Michael Reeves and Graham Stephen had on a podcast. I’d prefer each creator have the autonomy to decide if they want to drum up drama or be transparent about their journey.
I’m so glad you talked about Ididathing’s walkout dance, I didn’t even know who that guy was before the event and that was one of my favorite parts of the whole night
The kind of rivalry I would like to see in an event like this would be the kind of jokey manufactured rivalry a la Contrapoints and Lindsay Ellis, where they're like, "That's right, this is a feud! We're feuding! Buy our feud merch!" But they're actually besties and everyone knows it.
Michael was simply able to put more time in to training and even sparred with a world champ or something i heard. I think even Graham admits to that fact. He has a busier life and so probably sparred less times than Michael which equates to muscle memory and being able to stay in control and keep up your stance.
Gods no, I'm so glad there wasn't the dumb aspect of rivalry / drama. The performative posturing and promises of pain and all that, in combat sports, it's so tedious and pathetic at this point.
When thinking about future creators I’d love to see in the ring, I just KNEW you would be on board. I can see it now: “I fought in Creator Clash so you didn’t have to” And yes absolutely agree Minx v Haley was an awesome fight. I’ll go even as far as to say that was the best fight of the night 😳 Minx was such a menace and I know you would bring the same kind of energy if you were able to participate 😭
i had no idea it even existed until this video but it seems like SO much fun and filled with so many creators that i enjoy! you can really tell that they all respect the sport and trained for it even if they aren't big on boxing specifically and put a lot of effort into making it a good fight. good on everyone for giving it a go and doing some good work for charity
I appreciate your support for the Creator Clash. I really like the production during the paid broadcast. I heard it was sold out, so thanks for showing the crowd's electricity!
Arin's the Video Game Boy! He's the one who wins! Very happy they had some ladies involved. You should totally get in the ring! Thank you, always, for the commentary!
3:16 so I had to double check and the guy pointing at Dad is Professional Wrestler John Morrison (and his many other ring names) idk how they know each other Edit: So they've apparently known each other since at least 2012 from what I can see with less than a page of a Google search
Oh holy s*** I'm so jealous but happy that you went! I really wanted to go but I had to be a reasonable adult and parent, and recognize that right now it's just a really not in the budget or super super ideal for having a toddler but excited to watch your video ❤️
"Keep your hands up" Holy shit I think I actually heard you in the livestream. Your voice must be insanely loud, because I thought it was one of the coaches at ringside lol
The only creator I actively followed that didn't heavily advertise their fight was probably Micheal. Grumps, Dad, I Did A Thing, and Erik all had a ton of fun hyping up this event. Its just really fun to see all the boys from the grungey era of TH-cam still thrive in their fields after moving on to other things, Idubzz, Joji, and the Coldones, lasting with their creativity and talent harder than any drama or commentary channel from the time.
Saw someone say that you should fight Amanda the Jedi. I agree and I think she's mentioned an interest. She's around 5'2 also. Both look thin so maybe same weight class. It works out great. Petition for the Amanda's to fight.
I thought CC was actually fantastic and I’m really glad they delivered on the promise of respecting the sport. Also hard agree on the national anthem movie moment; I don’t think I’ve ever heard a sporting event so cohesively and enthusiastically sing the anthem as they did during Fatty’s third attempt hahaha
CONGRATS ON GETTING INTO IDUBBBZ VIDEO SWELL! You’re channel is great, so glad to see you getting bigger and bigger and becoming more recognized by even larger channels!
I think a lot of the fighters made it really clear how much they wanted to win. I think a lot of the ones that I saw promote it in advance portrayed it as "I'm going into this to show myself and everyone else that I can put up a better fight that they think". I think that was pretty alight. I think there could have been more marketing. I would definitely like to see you take part next time. I would also like to see a lot of creators that you wouldn't expect join next time. If they take it seriously it's really interesting to follow how they train leading up to the match and if they can perform during the match.
I kinda take your point on the rivalry aspect because the fights I cared about most were the ones that H3 featured (the headline, ABs and Matt v Dad) and there was some story behind. Theyre what sold the ticket to me. But I did enjoy it regardless and don't know if that really played into my investment in each fight once it got going. I think my favourite fight was the women's fight. They did so damn well, I would have loved to have see it go to full time. Overall I loved the event and hope there's another one. Not sure who I would want to return, but if Anisa was able to fight (I believe she was told to drop out this one) that would be great as I know she really wanted to. Sort of torn between wanting redemption arcs for the people that didn't do so well and wanting the absolute beasts to come back and take on better matches. Don't think I would want any 1:1 rematches, really.
NO WAY!!!!! WE WERE LITERALLY SITTING TWO SEATS AWAY FROM EACH OTHER!!!! That's so awesome seeing a video filmed from a similar perspective!!! During clips filming the ring you can see me at the bottom of the frame haha, I'm wearing the green baseball hat and have the big bushy hair coming out from under it!
I've been looking forwards to this! I've never watched boxing or any kind of fighting sport but I got SUPER into this shouting advice at my TV as if I know anything 😅 Well worth the money for the amount of entertainment me and my partner had ! I struggled with the violence at first but got over that fast and really enjoyed the sportsmanship from the fighters, definitely made it more watchable for me.
I completely agree with your proposal for the marketing. This event was taking place on my own college campus and I didn't even know until it was happening, I would've fucking loved to go if I had known.
You should challenge Amanda the Jedi. Winner gets to keep being Amanda. Loser has to spend a year introducing herself as 'Mandy'.

Having Amanda fight is a no brainer. You know she’s gonna give plenty of content with the training, the behind the scene and a post event analysis, and her fan base will show up to support women being feral
I WILL ABSOLUTELY SHOW UP TO SUPPORT WOMEN BEING FERAL
I agree, I think the point is especially moot when you consider Dad vs. Matt Watson happened earlier in the same event.
Some of the money went to training and travel costs but that’s a good thing. Helps it be more serious and respectful to the boxing sport.
Yes this unlike the other fight really wanted to support the sport. Boxing like football historically has been one of the sports that helps ppl get out of bad situations and lift up not just the boxer but their community.
I shit you not, this video proves Amanda was the main voice I was hearing from the crowd in the broadcast lmfao
Seeing JustAMinx dad watch her win was one of the sweetest moments I’ve seen on the internet
Seeing Dad made me do a double take. Forgot he was technically a TH-camr and not just a damn good webshow.
dad is the greatest youtuber in all the universes
Who is "Dad"?
it kind of depresses me that people don’t know any of keith apicary’s work to the point that he’s billed as dad even for a fight. his old dance videos and physical comedy reels were amazing, as well as his ambush interviews.
@@SOOKIE42069 I mean it seems like he was billed as "Dad" because he wanted to be? He has videos on the Dad youtube channel about the match, and when he came out he was acting in character, I think. He even wore the tie, lol. I think he's just really committed to the bit
@@SOOKIE42069 also, his name is Nathan Barnatt, lol. Keith Apicary is another one of his characters.
just wanna say according to his podcast, they pulled matt out super early because even though he didn't realize it at the time, the medics could tell he got a pretty serious concussion from those first couple head punches.
Thanks for coming!!!!
13:33 Allie screaming "Let's go Arin!" Is fuckin' amazing. Once a Grumps producer, _always_ a Grumps producer lmao
EDIT: My roomie and I are fans of Arin, Michael Reeves, and Dr. Mike, and fairweather fans of Dad and Harley, so we _definitely_ showed up to the livestream for the whole thing.
Allie left the company?? Since when?
@@castlegarden2999 I did not suggest she did lol. Creator Clash isn't a work scenario for her, tho, so the expression works.
Sorry if I scared you lmao
@@Arcanist_Gaming ahhhh I see, thank you for clarifying
@@castlegarden2999 No problem lol
Wow, I truly do not know any of these people aside from Minx lmao. But despite having zero interest in these people and boxing in general, this event seemed fun and was for a good cause, so why not? It definitely proved that boxing events don’t have to be centred around douchebags.
Definitely recommend you checking out game grumps (especially their 10 power hour) and Michael reeves. Great chaotic content
Matt and Ryan from supermega are very funny, definitely check them out
i STRONGLY recommend internet comment etiquette
You should def join the next clash! DM them on twitter they're looking for folks! With your style of content I'd love to see the whole journey of all the training until matchday. I definitely liked that all the rivalry was all in good fun. I think it helped a lot that after these creators got done punching they hugged it out. Especially Ryan and Alex's fight. It brought some much needed sportsman ship to the event!
Definitely didn't need rivalry or beef. How chill it was was 90% of what got me interested in watching. The other 10% was the people in it. Agree though, definitely needed better marketing.
“IT AINT A STARING CONTEST” 😂
Hey Amanda, Ian was on Philip Defranco and said the Creator Clash DM’s were open on twitter for any creators who wanted to fight … just saying
Creators that fought were paid to compensate for training and travel and the time they put into preparing. But some of them donated what they were paid.
I think at the very least the training part is very important. Adds much more respect to the sport and also reduces the risk of injuries greatly.
I AGREE WITH CHRISTINE (THE SCIENCE QUEEN) VS AMANDA (I WILL FIGHT) I’D WATCH THAT
This was one of the most positive events I have ever been too.
Dude I saw you in the back recording during the live stream!! I was like “OH MY GOD ITS AMANDA”
I've rewatched Michael's fight a lot and I thought I saw her recording his walkout. Immediately checked her Twitter, saw she was there, and have been waiting on the video since lol!
“I just need to see shapes to kick your ass” that quote alone should get you a spot on the roster.
I heard of the event through Internet Comment Etiquette and was glad overall I only saw positive feedback on the event, seemed like everyone had a good time 😊
I don't know them trying to make fake "beefs" between all the fighters would have been more cringy then what actually happened
every time i see a creator boxing thing all i can think about is that episode of jenna and julien’s podcast where they enthusiastically agreed that they’d fight each other for a million dollars
I love how much you participate when you go to events, you are always so there for it. You must be fun to go to stuff with
The lack of cringy beef and massive fragile as glass egos made this so much better.
Truly never thought Amanda and Sam Hyde would have any common ground lol.
i'm a huge Dad fan since the early days. I am very envious. He was unstoppable.
he destroyed our sweet moist boy matt
Minx and Hailey was definitely my fave fight of the night, followed by ryan and alex, michael and graham, ab and hundar.
idubbbz uploaded the full stream of the fight to his YT channel.
I’d prefer each creator have the autonomy to decide if they want to drum up drama or be transparent about their journey.
matt… matt watkins?
@@stellap-m4345 from supermega??
I’m so glad you talked about Ididathing’s walkout dance, I didn’t even know who that guy was before the event and that was one of my favorite parts of the whole night
The kind of rivalry I would like to see in an event like this would be the kind of jokey manufactured rivalry a la Contrapoints and Lindsay Ellis, where they're like, "That's right, this is a feud! We're feuding! Buy our feud merch!" But they're actually besties and everyone knows it.
girl not you cheering during the fights YOURE KILLLLLLING ME LMFAOOO 😭😭😭😂
Michael was simply able to put more time in to training and even sparred with a world champ or something i heard. I think even Graham admits to that fact. He has a busier life and so probably sparred less times than Michael which equates to muscle memory and being able to stay in control and keep up your stance.
Gods no, I'm so glad there wasn't the dumb aspect of rivalry / drama. The performative posturing and promises of pain and all that, in combat sports, it's so tedious and pathetic at this point.
When thinking about future creators I’d love to see in the ring, I just KNEW you would be on board. I can see it now: “I fought in Creator Clash so you didn’t have to”
And yes absolutely agree Minx v Haley was an awesome fight. I’ll go even as far as to say that was the best fight of the night 😳 Minx was such a menace and I know you would bring the same kind of energy if you were able to participate 😭
Oh Dad has energy! He has done many long livestreams where he just dances with his dad moves.
i had no idea it even existed until this video but it seems like SO much fun and filled with so many creators that i enjoy! you can really tell that they all respect the sport and trained for it even if they aren't big on boxing specifically and put a lot of effort into making it a good fight. good on everyone for giving it a go and doing some good work for charity
I appreciate your support for the Creator Clash. I really like the production during the paid broadcast. I heard it was sold out, so thanks for showing the crowd's electricity!
I saw you at Creator Clash 2! Looking forward to the video
Arin's the Video Game Boy! He's the one who wins!
Very happy they had some ladies involved. You should totally get in the ring!
Thank you, always, for the commentary!
3:16 so I had to double check and the guy pointing at Dad is Professional Wrestler John Morrison (and his many other ring names) idk how they know each other
Edit: So they've apparently known each other since at least 2012 from what I can see with less than a page of a Google search
probably from around the time that Kieth Apicary (another one of Nathan Barnatt's characters) wanted to fight Dolph Ziggler
Oh holy s*** I'm so jealous but happy that you went! I really wanted to go but I had to be a reasonable adult and parent, and recognize that right now it's just a really not in the budget or super super ideal for having a toddler but excited to watch your video ❤️
That dancing ref is the real MVP here
"Keep your hands up"
Holy shit I think I actually heard you in the livestream.
Yooo I just saw ya in the idubbbz vid congrats!
Harley cosplaying Big Boss is hilarious
I got the stream tickets and damn i was very pleasantly surprised. Good event, if the same team makes another one i’ll probably get the tickets again.
I watch so many of these guys and I’m so glad you got footage of it haha, they were all great.
Okay I THOUGHT I saw you right by the walkout at the event!!!!
This whole event seemed way more fun overall, loved the walkouts & outfits especially lol
I usually associate TH-camrs with unboxing, rather than boxing.
Lmaoo the choreographed dance, the birthday hats, the khaki shorts😂😭 cute
Ayoo you're in the first couple mins of a new idubbz video!
Well that video came out of left field! Surprisingly amazing.
I completely agree with your proposal for the marketing. This event was taking place on my own college campus and I didn't even know until it was happening, I would've fucking loved to go if I had known.
Better Call Saul energy on the first round of that first fight.
it felt much more respectful than other matches which i appreciate.
this is wonderful coverage, thank youuu
I definitely read this headline thinking Amanda boxed!
