Yes dear ᗩ, with the difference that it has no divine attributes, no past, no present, no future, no superior or inferior plan of existence, no existence at all, no need for worship. It's just our own true, ultimate nature. It is the absolutely empty creativity out of which all manifests, even the gods we may sometimes need, even the monsters our delusions produce. This kind of emptiness has no essence and yet it is absolutely powerful, like vacuum in a sucker. It is luminous and warm: when we recognize it we become like kids lost in a crowded market recognizing their own mom, shedding tears of joy for the end of fears and hopes, the end of delusions, the end of dualistic separation between likes and dislikes, the end of blindness. More steps will follow, the glimpse will expand to a skyline. Ultimately you'll be there, fully, beyond all time and space. Empty is not the correct translation. Sunyata 空性is the correct Sanskirt. In Buddha Dharma, Sunyata is the state of things without independent existence 空無自性， another way of say is: dependant origination 緣起性空，thus devoid of independent existence, 因緣所生法，我說即是空。Dharma( means everything) is the product of conditioning緣， many factors added together to form such a thing, so it can be said to be empty of its own existence.
Actually you can get under consciousness. Consciousness is awareness of conceptualizing. Stop the thoughts and concepts, leave duality behind and you are left with pure awareness (emptiness), the dharmakaya. What happens when you enter that state must be profound. Hope to achieve that one of these lives.
Rory Smith, what you just said about the pure awareness or Dharmakaya is the same as the consciousness he is speaking about, it is the pure consciousness as in Vedanta and Tantra. He was not talking about ordinary consciousness or mind.
Indeed it is profound and all missing puzzles can be found there. I don't call it attainment. it was Chagdud Tulku who found Kenpo Acho in the mountains as asked by Dujom Rinpoche. Nobody knew Kenpo Acho at that time, this happened during a Vajrakilaya Drupcho at Lhasa. When Chagdud Tulku came back bringing Kenpho Acho to meet Dujom Rinpoche, Dujom Rinpoche got out of his throne and made Kenpo Acho sit on his high trone, then Rinpoche said that in the future everybody would hear about and be amazing by Kenpo Acho. He doesn’t turn his body into light. Light is what is perceived as the formed energy that is the body goes formless. He has defeated the involuntary reincarnation cycle but can return to earth as a teacher out of compassion for those of us who have lost our way, as did Jesus, the Buddha and countless others over the course of history. In Buddhism he is called a Nirmanakaya. Or, he can influence human behavior through mind to mind transmission with those who can hear him. This is called Sabhogakaya. Finally he can be in non-sensory communication with like enlightened bodies as a Dharmakaya. Here we have the basis for the Christian Holy Trinity: the Father (Dharmakaya), the Son (Nirmanakaya) and Holy Spirit (Sambhogakaya).
I also read that, once you achieved rainbow body you are completely free what to do. I wonder if there will be a Life review or not. You basically won the game. You can come back, you could also travel to one of the planets where they teach how to achieve rainbow body. He can reincarnate whenever he wants. :)

Does YOUR conscious intent create you? If YOU are empty, then how can YOU have an intent? Perhaps conscious observation creates material reality (i.e. the collapse of the wave function in quantum physics) but is this a function of ME or something grander? A universal consciousness perhaps? :)
"Empty" means filled with something that is subtle, intangible and ineffable, i.e. consciousness. Consciousness has all of the qualities we assign to God (uncreated, omniscient, omnipotent and so forth) only it is not a person. It thinks, wills and acts, qualities which it passes along to the matter it emanates.

I have a problem with notions such as "light body," "soular body," and such. If light is present (detected by the human eye) then photons are around somewhere. And their most likely source is an energy release within the body. Ie something is taking place at the atomic level. Dematerialization is happening.
Hi Himalayan Hands, I understand, have you seen any photo/video's of a Master(many Himalayan) rainbow/light bodies. In the past only a Master could do this so you can see it with your eyes and they did it on purpose to inspire their disciples. So most will only have seen pictures. Like all our 4 bodies, they are ways of expressing and experiencing our selves. The Soul-ar body will be the last one, as it's a much more subtle than the others. I dont believe that the body disappears. What I think is going on is these monks are getting into a deep mediation so deep that they are able to influence they Near death experience. In fact I believe with some training we all can it just depends on how much time we want to put into it. They are most likely very much conscious through their death experience. I'm here to save humanity from negativity. I was curious about my rainbow aura, I got enlightened recently. I used drugs and porn to get the rainbow body.
In my view, the body is not made of photons. Photons are but vibrations in the earth's electromagnetic field. When a person sees light it is because photons are present. Photons are generated when atomic particles go from a high energy to low energy level. Thus, the rainbow light that is observed is the result of something happening at the atomic level; i.e. the atom going from something that is obvious-tangible-observable to its alternate form of subtle-intangible-ineffable, just as Mr. Einstein says.
Not really. Photons are what is generated when atomic particles change energy levels. The presence of light in rainbow body indicate that something is taking place at the atomic level.
The body, like a cloud oe rainbow, is real but not real. Its realness is conditioned on humidity and water droplets/sunlight. Take them away and the two disappear. The body is also a conditioned real but the condition is mental state driven by karma. The need to have a material existence (i.e. return to the scene of the crime) in order to make things right.
The "elimination" of self is just another way of being ones self. Feeling superior and special by being selfless. Holier than thou, anyone? The overly humble, full of pride. All extremes people will go through to stand apart, even with a crowd. Don't forget the acceptance factor and groupthink. It's all fashion, clothed in spirituality like all religion. That said, people need religion and a form of spiritual discipline or we'd just give up caring. Not everyone can understand living by the golden rule, and most religions take care of that to some extent.
I don't see any connection between religion and holiness and self. Self is the mind-created agency that is fabricated around the need for a material existence which originates, in turn, at a higher level in response to karmic forces. All that exists is the primordial Universal Mind's need to bring karmic forces into the material world so they can be neutralized, a return to the scene of the crime, so to speak. Sorry for the long comment but I have had a lot of mental health and addiction problems for a very long time and I wish we'd gotten started on this a lot sooner, as unaided traditional meditation is _extremely_ difficult for me. But I'm excited for what the future holds when science finally opens its doors to the greater reality.

I have a problem with notions such as "light body," "soular body," and such. If light is present (detected by the human eye) then photons are around somewhere. And their most likely source is an energy release within the body. Ie something is taking place at the atomic level. Dematerialization is happening.
Hi Himalayan Hands, I understand, have you seen any photo/video's of a Master(many Himalayan) rainbow/light bodies. In the past only a Master could do this so you can see it with your eyes and they did it on purpose to inspire their disciples. So most will only have seen pictures. Like all our 4 bodies, they are ways of expressing and experiencing our selves. The Soul-ar body will be the last one, as it's a much more subtle than the others. Maybe i see more of empty mind conciousness and connecting to the intelligent infinity rather than being nothing. I also personally understand it as nothing matters but all life. I dont believe that the body disappears. What I think is going on is these monks are getting into a deep mediation so deep that they are able to influence they Near death experience. In fact I believe with some training we all can it just depends on how much time we want to put into it.

In my view, the body is not made of photons. Photons are but vibrations in the earth's electromagnetic field. When a person sees light it is because photons are present. Photons are generated when atomic particles go from a high energy to low energy level. Thus, the rainbow light that is observed is the result of something happening at the atomic level; i.e. the atom going from something that is obvious-tangible-observable to its alternate form of subtle-intangible-ineffable, just as Mr. Einstein says.

The body, like a cloud oe rainbow, is real but not real. Its realness is conditioned on humidity and water droplets/sunlight. Take them away and the two disappear. The body is also a conditioned real but the condition is mental state driven by karma. The need to have a material existence (i.e. return to the scene of the crime) in order to make things right.

The "elimination" of self is just another way of being ones self. Feeling superior and special by being selfless. Holier than thou, anyone? The overly humble, full of pride. All extremes people will go through to stand apart, even with a crowd. Don't forget the acceptance factor and groupthink. It's all fashion, clothed in spirituality like all religion. That said, people need religion and a form of spiritual discipline or we'd just give up caring. Not everyone can understand living by the golden rule, and most religions take care of that to some extent.
I don't see any connection between religion and holiness and self. Self is the mind-created agency that is fabricated around the need for a material existence which originates, in turn, at a higher level in response to karmic forces. All that exists is the primordial Universal Mind's need to bring karmic forces into the material world so they can be neutralized, a return to the scene of the crime, so to speak. Disagree. I did create my body as evidenced by the fact that I can make it disappear (I.e., rainbow body). The issue is, who is this “I” that is being referred to? The belief in an “I” is why there is a body in the first place. Also, we get inflexible and wrinkly because of the second law of thermodynamics. Everything physical is actually energy. We get this from E= mc2. Per the law, everything made from energy proceeds from order to disorder. It’s called entropy

After so many years of frustration, I get very abrupt with Westerners, particularly the Christian sect, who are so sheltered from what is truly taking place in a culture they consider ignorant, thinking they and only they represent truth.
