As a professional entertainer with a Black Book full of famous names I'll tell you what impresses me about this clip. Put aside the notoriety and image of Howard Stern, Stern's show, Dee Snider, Twisted Sister, and the other notable players and idiots. I am very aware of each of these guys, for decades, but would not consider myself a Fan or friend of either of them.
What matters here is this is how a Man handles his business. Not a male, a man.
Dee quite objectively tells a very believable story. He takes blame, casts blame, accepts blame, takes credit, gives credit, places responsibility, accepts responsibility, gives thanks, gives praise, apologizes, seeks an apology, is open to discuss and debate, and strives for honesty, harmony and reconciliation. Then tries to come to terms with reality when something and someone prove to just not be worth it.
This is how a Man handles his business. Anything and everything else is for liars, posers, narcissists, and pussies.

The slings and arrows of being an honest dude in show business. Dee can’t be *this* naive. He has to know that show business relationships tend to be more utilitarian than genuine. Stern being mad at this or that is secondary really…Dee is part of the old guard…Gilbert, Kinison, Jackie and Billy. Stern doesn’t really acknowledge that part of the show’s history anymore. In a perfect world, the stern show would’ve ended the contract after Artie left…let’s be generous and say 2014. But it didn’t. So be it…I just wish they’d ease up on the people who post older clips so we can enjoy the stern show as it was.

He was a nerd disguised as a rock star and most people including Dee saw through it very
early on but ignored it. Howard burned so many bridges with past co-workers and friends
that the common denominator is obviously Howard himself. He is loyal to nobody except
Robin Quivers but that is only because she keeps kissing his ass and doesn't stop because
    she needs the money.
I'm pretty sure his wife beth is only with him because of the money she will inherit when he
    finally croaks

He used to be cool AF..the every day man related to him. He was funny, clever and a master of satire. He says what we are all thinking but afraid to say...that was BEFORE he married a super model and built a house in the hamptons and started hanging out with all the celebs he trashed for decades. He literally became "one of them".(i.e America hating liberal)...He's Hampton Howie now. A complete opposite of what him so relatable. I has a die hard for 30 years..but after that 2018 Hillay Clinton interview i dropped him forever and it was like losing a best friend. I loved the dude and his show. When he went to sirius i bought 4 lifteime subs (1 for me and the others as gifts to family mambers and my gf at the time)..and bought all his books but that hillary interview and 24/7 bashing of Trump was the nail in the coffin for me. He should work for CNN when he retires. he will fit right in. It was the most softball, cotton candy bubble wrap interivew I ever heard from him or ANYONE. She lied to his face and he took it like a b***h. Robin called her out on her lie and Howard just kinda smirked and quickly went back to lathering her a$$. And this interivew was in the middle of the "me too" movement and shes married to the biggest politcal sexual predator since jfk and howard didnt even touch the subject...NOR did he ask her why did she feel she had to cheat during the debates with Trump (she was fed the questions to the debate beforehand by Danna Brazile from CNN, who denied doing it saying her email was hacked by russia but then was eventually fired for it after admitting she did it and lied about it)....and the Hillary lie to howard was when she said she was never told Howard wanted to interview her on his show during her campigning...Howard said on his show repeatedly, and on other shows when interviewd by others, in print every chance he got and reached out to her people asking to have her on to try and help her win...Hillary sat in that studio with howard and looked him in the eye and said "No one ever told me..I had no idea u wanted me on"...(total lie)...Then Robin called her out on her bull$hit and chimed in saying "Howard is biggest name in radio and practically sky writed it over your house for an interview and u say u never go the messgae...YET you go one the little hole in the wall radio stations no one ever heard of?!??!!" You got thos emessages but not Howard's?? Hillary just kinda laughed it off as did Howard. Howard Stern Show..BIGGEST radio show ever, and even talked to your people and u gonna sit there and say "I had no idea". B***h PLEASE! And BTW..Trump and Howard used to be great friends before he was prez...Howard even hung out ar Mara Largo and was a "friend of the show" which is considered an honor to labled that on the Stern show (used to be anyway)...Since the 80's Trump always called in and visited the studio. The Clinton's couldnt stand Howard..thay hated him and still do im sure and when Trump called Howard for an endorsement howards like "Nah..Im voting for Hillary"..the chick that bashed him and ignored him hes gonna endorse but not the guy that was a friend to the show for DECADES!!!!. Howard's a two-face. Never thought id feel this way about Howard but there is nothing I like about him anymore. He lost his edge and his honesty. I havent listened to him since 2018...I went from listend to every live show every day since the 80's up to 2018 and stopped cold turkey. I never thought i could do that but I did and its because what Howard turned into.

Listen, Howard is a very flawed individual. If you go to therapy or if you have to go to therapy five days a week there’s a major problem. Howard recognizes this and talks about it all the time. Very strange human being. I’m sure it’s the reason why he’s so successful. totally focused and driven and disciplined. That being said with all he has and he has a lot I would never want to be him. But I will say this A lot of people are so called fans blame Beth for whatever(jd). I am a huge fan of animals and I love felines. She does amazing work and let’s be honest Howard finances that. That means a lot to me. Peace and love to everyone. Dont live like Howard. Laugh with him on the radio. He’s a very flawed individual.

Stern is 70 and still has these issues and STILL going to therapy multiple times a week ? At some point his therapist should tell him to s*** or get off the pot. Grow up already and be a man. He's a multi millionaire and complains like a kid who didn't get an ice cream cone at a birthday party. Stop being a wimp.

At the end of the day Dee's path he took holds more weight and credibility than how Howard's path ended up. If your using annual salaries for who took a better path then your missing the real point here.
Dee you totally glossed over your MTV Veejay career you had while still being in Twisted Sister, MTV'S METAL 1/2 HOUR SHOW. My folks never paid for cable TV so I would have my cousin VHS record those shows for me daily and at the end of the week he would drop off the tape so I could watch a week's worth of those shows seeing Dee host, play videos and pal around with the biggest names in 80s Metal/Hard Rock genre and always thought he was pretty good for that role he had over at MTV. Eventually that show turned into MTV's HeadBangers Ball but Dee wasn't asked to host it I guess because I never saw him again on MTV. But those early shows with Dee hosting the Metal 1/2 HR are classics to me.

Dee has always seemed to be a person of integrity and loyalty, which is in his music and interviews. Stern was always loved for the same things but being so neurotic with narcissistic traits it's difficult for him to keep friendships. Just see the list of former friends and associates. Stern's said himself on several occasions how difficult it is for him to socialize even though he would want to. Maybe his therapy will help so he doesn't regret not keeping in touch when it's too late.

stern integrity ???? 🤣🤣 yeah like when he dressed in black face and dropped the N bomb numerous times or how about the time he berated and made fun of dana plato so bad she committed suicide the day after being on his show or how about when he would ply an alcholic dwarf with vodka. yeah howard sure is a man of integrity .🤣 those are only a few examples of the thousands i could of sited as to what a POS howard is

There are people in this world who are able to cut dear, longtime friends off without a second thought. And there are people in this world who, when they GET cut off by a friend, don't give it a second thought. I'm neither of these people. If a friend I really like cuts me off, it's the most painful thing in the world. Nothing worse, short of someone dying. It's a terrible way to be.
