Special thanks:
The Band for making this awesome music
Every one of you guys watching this now
I love yall! :)
#linkinpark #nomoresorrow #reaction
This song is very nostalgic for me as it was played before every Pheonix Coyotes game (my favorite hockey team) that I went to as a child.
Can’t even go watch them anymore cuz they don’t pay the bills
Coyotes fan eh? My condolences.
Time has not be nice to you :(
@@Mercman1010 nope 😂
@@Mercman1010 since moving to Utah (a state without an NHL team🤬) in 2013, I haven't really been following the yotes, but I have heard about their fall from grace.
Chester Bennington's screams are easily recognizable. Literally unique and no one can come close to replicate it. Even more impressive is his control over his voice. Given Up is a perfect example with that 15-17 second long scream. That is hard and he is capable of doing it without straining his vocal chords.
I know that first hand. I could barely talk for 3 days after attempting Given Up with my band

@@frankhorrigan2047 what the name of a band?
When you're done with "Minutes to Midnight", you have to do "A Thousand Suns", as they are albums meant to go together. Minutes is about the downfall and leadup to nuclear war, while Thousand Suns is about the aftermath.
I don't think that's true. Minutes is not a concept album
@@ShadowKiller571 yeah you’re right. While the album title references the doomsday clock that’s really the only connection there is. Not sure where he got the idea that they’re meant to go together like they’re part 1 and 2 albums.
@@ShadowKiller571 it's not technically a concept album, but many songs have a similar theme to them. The album title is also a dead give away. While the titles are about nuclear war, that could also be symbolism for an internal war.
I do think that those two albums are joined in some other way than just being released after the other...when ever i listen to Linkin Park, those two albums always follow each other and i feel fulfilled
I think a Thousand Suns Reaction would be gold, especially the second half, but you could do the first three tracks in one video, so take that as you will
"why is this not the only band I listen to?" welcome to my day at work, their albums are always on repeat for me.
*"That F**king Riff Is Nasty!!"*
I couldn't agree more, Alex!! It's definitely up there with a lot of my favorite riffs. This song is an absolute banger!! 🤘😆
The break down is nastier 😮💨
@@BIGBOOMBOOM69 Agreed. Still though, that riff is awesome! 🤘❤️
I love the intro to this one. Those drums are awesome 😝❤️🤘
Ditto; sick instrumentals on this. I usually hate click tracks and I even like that in this. 😂 Miracle!
Brad, the lead guitarist, was told to use ‘ebow’ in the song ‘Little things give you away’, although he didn’t.
However, No More Sorrow is the first and probably the only song where he uses the ‘ebow’ on his guitar.
Wow great
But what's ebow lol
@@AThousandSuns42 the EBow is a hand-held electronic bow for guitar. It is a small battery-powered unit which replaces the pick in the right hand letting the guitarist mimic strings, horns, and woodwinds with unbelievable sensitivity.
So if you observe in live performances of this song, Brad doesn’t use a pick in his right hand, he simply presses down on the strings with his right hand. The EBow produces a powerful infinite sustain, rich in harmonics.
@@chaitanyabagul6969 oh wow tysm for that info!!! :))
and that's why "ebow" was this song's demo title.
Yes, two of my favorit bands have used an ebow. I was so fascinated by this gadget and I've always loved strings in music, so I got myself one back then. I have an edition with a mode that amplifies overtones, like pinch harmonics, it's insanely awesome! Only downside is it takes a some second or two until the string starts to vibrate/sound (likely a faster process with thinner strings than mine though). And you are stuck to playing melodies on one string at a time
This was the song that introduced me to metal music, it was about 13 years ago. Then Linking Park made me buy my first electric guitar and try to play this song, even if I couldn't play guitar 🤣 Linkin Park has a special place in my heart ❤️
same goes to me when I first heard this song but I immediately played along with this song quickly by ear to get that breakdown (Thieves and hypocrites part) right while during practice. And I realized that this song is in Drop C# instead of Drop D.
Such a great song. This dudes screams are the best I’ve ever heard🤘🤘
Chester was always so talented and good at the "primal scream", you could could tell he always felt it, what an outlet to get that primal scream out! YES!
Just like a lot of Linkin Park songs this is one no matter where I am I have to sing a long if I hear it, there's been many times I've been in a Car with friends or family and as soon is it starts it's not long before I attempt to also scream "No more sorrow!" and the riff is top tier one of the best riffs ever.
Thing song, this band is absolutely amazing! Thank you
Minutes To Midnight carries a lot of Political themes surrounding the Bush administration. The title itself referring to a Doomsday Clock. "You're time is borrowed" meaning that he can only be in office for a short amount of time left. With this album releasing in May 2007. Thats how I've always read the lyrics, and the overall theme of the album. Entirely a banger
This album is incredible! When I saw Linkin Park in 2007 there was a storm that delayed them 30 minutes, and then they come and open with THIS SONG
Talk about making an entrance, this is a hard hitting jam, and I love this 🔥🔥 #NoMoreSorrow
Exactly Alex, listening LP, specially Chester and Chester's voice is like feeling home ❤️.
React all Linkin Park sons of every album please!
This song always has been my favorite in this album. It has the most power in this album. The hardcore drums + chester voice combined with Mike's background soft voice. what a masterpiece
Alex: "I'm so pumped for this."
Us: "Hold onto your boots, you're about to be cranked to 11."
This song always gets me pumped, The martial cadence of the percussion I think is a big factor there. It's just like "alright, rally up, boys. We're doin' this thing." I think this song would make a great pro/indy wrestling entrance theme. Get some strobes timed to the snare hits during the intro, burst through the curtains when the guitar comes in after the drop. March down to the ring like it's ass kick o'clock and you've got a full schedule.
Sadly that's it for songs on this album that I'm familiar with, at least until the final track, which is another good one (like there's really ever been a "bad" Linkin Park song).
So, funny thing. I said the song would make for a great wrestling entrance theme. Turns out one of my indy wrestling buddies who wrestles under the moniker "The Millennial Dragon" uses an instrumental variation of this song as his entrance. Here's a throwback to the first match I saw him in, first NAW show I'd ever been to back in April of last year: th-cam.com/video/MtLUlgkb_Ho/w-d-xo.html
And bit of fun trivia, that's me in the back under the "A Plus" poster snapping photos, while my brother "Mr. Dan the Photo Man" is shooting from ringside (and a shoutout to videographer Richard Ruiz, you'll see him wandering around the ring a few times, too). Trips me out that I went to that show as just another wrestling fan and now I'm part of the NAW family as the official timekeeper.
The groove in this song is INSANE. Song is heavy & groovy as hell
Llevo 16 años escuchando esta banda y nunca encontre otra mejor
I really hope you watch a live performance of this sometime because it’s just too good
I think he is. This isn't the studio version from the album
The intro is a perfect build to one amazing unrated song on this album and Mike and Chester vocals are truly amazing, the screams are so awesome as ever 🖤🤘
I'm so happy your doing the whole album. Linkin Park has been my favorite band since I was 7 years old.
Love this song . Always crank it up in the Car. Great reaction buddy👍🤘🤘
Man I miss LP. Hands down favorite band. Crazy to think its nearly been 5 years since Chester left us.
Rediscovered this gem thx to your reaction, Alex. Huge thanks, man! Also... It's hauntingly relevant for me nowadays, on many levels. Back when the album was fresh, it wasn't relevant half as much. Lucky childhood.
You need to check out their live version from their MSG show that was aired live on fuse. The build up to the intro is so good!
Dang this song is serious nostalgia from when I was in high school.
Plz react to Under The Knife by Icon For Hire
"you replace freedom with fear, you take money for lies". Ant guesses
Minutes to Midnight is their best album for sure
Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington literally saved my life.
I was super depressed and beaten down. I was going to check out. Then we lost Chris. Then I was going to do it again and then we lost Chester. I saw the outpouring of love for both of them and I decided to get help instead.
They literally saved my life.
Glad you’re here today to share my friend. Some of us go through darkness we never think we can get out of but sometimes it takes even darker moments like those to bring us to the light.
@@bibbitybipbop1429 thank you so much. That means more than you know to me.
Happy u still here
You ain`t the only one, my dude!:(
yeaaah alex u better get ready for the little things give you away...it's one of those emotional ones hits deeeeep
valentines day next im also readyyy
He was murdered for this song. Who you think he talking about???? THE ELITE! RIP TO GREAT ONE
Haha, I love at the intro (before the drums) you were saying something and then the drums came in and you were like, 'Damn! You have my attention!'
'Valentine's Day' will get ya man, pre warning haha. Peace out, fellow Alex!
Linkin Park songs feel more and more and more amazing as time passes
Watching you going through this Linkin Park journey reminds me my feelings in all the these years. I’m a LP fan since 2003 and whatching them exploring music genres with passion was insane. Keep it up man, lp family is here with you. I hope that you will listen to the rest of the albums too (i know you have done Meteora and Hybrid Theory series but you miss some albums too😉). Let’s gooooo!!!
Lol i was born in 2004 and fun fact i turned 20 today you are an OG fan
I had forgotten how good this album is & I've been listening to it all day at work after seeing your previous video. & this song is one of the best on the album.
Than you for reminding of this greatness.
Minutes to Midnight was the first album I ever bought myself. I'm not listening to LP that much anymore but will always keep it in a special place in my heart, which no other band will be able to ever reach
The song is essentially a ticking time bomb that is about to go off. Why do you think the album is called "Minutes to Midnight"? It's the doomsday clock.
Best song on the album IMO.
Really needed this content this morning. Alex is the man and linkin park kicks so much fookin arse! 😁
listen to in their song in pieces from the same album, one of my all time favorites
this is my 100% fav, my nickname is the initial letter for this song haha, love this and have so much meaning for me, great content alex, good to you back on LP, i have a sugestion, if you can bring MCR albuns too, absolute love for that band!
What a songggg love it 🖤🤘
I got to know linkin park through this song, it's a long story, when I was about 9 years old, I got a used laptop from my older brother, I was digging through the laptop and found this song, the first time I heard it I didn't know how to describe the feeling what I felt at that moment, I went in search of more and reached the great songs with in the end, breaking the habit, one step closer, from the inside and others, unfortunately we lost chester last year, a huge loss for us fans, but chester is in a better place as he sees us listening to his music, rest in peace chester🤘
The live version of this from the iTunes concert in 2011 was so so amazing. This hits you hard.
The beginning of the intro where Chester is staring and angry at someone while clapping along with the tempo. That's because Chester is looking at someone who bullies him in his childhood at his school.
Live in Milton Keynes is way better 😊
fuego video alex amazing energy
R,I,P CHESTER BENNINGTON GONE BUT WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN EVER
As many have pointed out on here, checking out the Live at Milton Keyes version of this gem is must watch.
The Beginning is still legendary... pumped it all day long when it was released. Thanks to Chester, for everything
Been dying for you to check this one . About time
Going to continue suggesting on each of your MtM videos that you listen to the Reanimation album after you finish MtM.
Also, No More Sorrow is one of my favorites, big time underrated.
I was trying to remember why this was so damn familiar. Then I remembered it was a DLC song back on Guitar Hero 3 and I played the shit out of this song!
Heaviest screams in metal ever! This is one their best songs, glad you enjoyed it.
Its about time one of my favorites
Not sure if I missed it, but I couldn't find Hands Held High just so you know. Songs like this make you want to headbang, mosh and forget your problems. This album has songs to make you cry and songs to lose yourself to; so dang amazing!
Banger 🖤🤘
The two MVPs of the song, IMO, aren't even Chester's vocals, even though they're excellent as usual. For me, the two elements that bring it all together are that haunting guitar melody that plays throughout the song, and Mike's backing vocals during the chorus. They add SO much to No More Sorrow.
Their live performance at Milton Keynes kickass
This song goes well with an F-22 raptor demonstration flight at an airshow as the US military did at RIAT one year 😲
Instant like on all your videos lol. Thanks for doing the complete albums! 🔥
super nostalgic, i was getting goosebumps before the music started
I remember showing this to classmates in my private Catholic school in 7th grade and getting odd looks from the room itself 😅 was a weird kid ig but I grew up in Linkin Park and especially this album 🤍
Old but so Gold 😍🤘🔥🖤🖤🖤🖤 #Chesterforever
This was one of the first Linkin Park songs I ever heard. It's the one that got me into the band I think.
My son bought this CD and I fell in love with it. RIEternalP Chester Bennington you were just to tender hearted for life.
It's been forever since I heard this song! Love it!
Him sniffling at the end was like he was snorting musical cocaine or something lmao
LP will always be one of my favorite bands. Never went through that "edgy teen" phase with them as my parents had a few albums when I was really little and I just kinda grew up with it. Been a fan of them since I was like 3 or 4 years old (so 2003 or 04). Even if I don't listen to them for a while their songs are always ones I come back to without fail
Man! I freaking love Linkin park and this is another example of their brilliance.
1:45 that riff onwards is very groundbreaking holy shit
This is such a great song with deep meanings. I love it.
Please check out Oh, Sleeper-"Hush Yael" It's written about a tragic true story and it will blow you away!!
Yyyeseesssss
Oh and also, congratulations on getting married bro
That song, because of the lyrics and how horrible of a story they tell, fills me with genuine rage. I've been an Oh, Sleeper fan since the beginning.
Bro I've been trying for 3 years to get oh sleeper hush yael
Finally your old intro music returns 🔥🔥🔥
The line this is hypocris always felt weird to me. 4:20
"Thieves and hypocrites"
No more sorrow is definitely up there with my favorites from this album, right after Given up.
Now I love (chester) LP even more than I did before, I get the message in all of their songs.
Very easy song to play on guitar as well, used to jam along with this all the time in my teens.
Chester's singing and screams make me happy and feel safe and at home
Congrats bro !
This one brings back memories. I didn't even have an ipod. I had some cheap mp3 player with like 20 songs and this was one. Played this and Surfacing by Slipknot on repeat while me and my dads friends were on a speedboat in this lake. Shit was so fun
Hell yes!
😱 I forgot how much I LOVE this song !!!!!
Dude LP was my top band or the only band I listened to at one point, I get you lol
One of the best
Yuo're so lucky you had the chance to listen to this for the 1st time now
Definitely my favorite song on the album 💯🔥🤘🔥💯 So badass!!
Alex! Now that u really make clear how much you love Mike Shinoda rapping and just how good he is, I NEED you to experience Fort Minor, mike's little project band before this album came out. It's incredible!! So many bangers. I've not seen any of the popular reactors react to them really. Maybe 1 song? GET ON IT
I personally love this song it has been my ringtone for years
There is an amazing band doing covers for linkin park that will shock you how good they are.
Especially the vocalist who is very good and has amazing voice. Reminds me of Chester voice.
Hybrid theory- tribute band
What I've done LIVE
If someone asks you what does underrated means show him this song
This song was my unofficially anthem of Strajk Kobiet in Poland
It was a time when women protested against our government because they wanted to take their rights
It was a time when women and men were fighting together against them
For those who wondered where Brad Delson use the intro in live version of this song, he has the humbucker+Sustainer pickup or an sustainer Pedal (I think)? This song made me pick up the guitar!
I prefer extended 2008 intro than the studio because it is the powerful intro that we have ever heard in history.
there is a lot of Iron Maiden in this song, awsome
Favorite linkin park song is what I've done, the song and video combo is great
Definetely one of my favorite songs by Linkin Park 🤘🏼
No More Sorrow, I'll never get tired of listening to it. 😅🤙🏽
Thank you for your reactions!! I agree with Chesters screaming, at the same time, you should check out twenty one pilots. The vocalist, Tyler Joseph, also has a "relaxing scream", if one can call it that xD "Car radio" is a good example. "Kitchen sink", "Heavydirtysoul" and "Trapdoor" also contains some good screams. And they are all very good and meaningfull songs!
Thank you again! And Congratulation with the wedding!! Both of you looked amazing!
Perfect,
Minutes to midnight is one of my personal favorite albums
No one's like Alex in Linkin park reactions 👏👏. Exactly how I used to.
First time hearing this song 🎧 😱❤️🔥❤️
one of my favorite song 🤘
