Thanks for sharing mate!! Both part 1 and 2 are super cool. Putting in old pictures of roadtrips, friends and the hole evolvement of the look of the bike really makes this video worth seeing. Plus, I did pick up some tricks for my triumph rebuilds ;-)
Thanks for putting this together and sharing it. I've got a 69' that used to belong to my father and I plan on restoring this very shortly. Your video has been an inspiration.
Thank you very much for Part 1 and 2. Poignant commentary on the passage of time, I thought. I don't know if you have alleviated my homesickness or made it worse...
theres something elemental in an old Triumph where I captured my lost youth and dug up memories of old girlfriends and classic tunes, the reassuring drag from a plain butt Camel cigarette and a shot of Jim Beam.
Normally on these type of videos I skip to miss the fiddly bits and get to the end to see the final product.....I kept all the way through this so's to not skip any of the music.....

With the conical rear wheel, I can't go any lower than 47 teeth -- Some people are able to fit a 21 on the front which would be better but I'm not sure yet if I can, It has a 20 at the moment
@@groggyman3718 Thanks for the reply! My riding behavior has changed some what over years. Really enjoy the lower cruise rpm and also riding in the gears longer before shifts. You get to use and enjoy the motor moment rpm range more.

PS, Music is great, too! Love Van the Man, even though I don't think I would like to have to deal with him in person...

What final gearing do you like to ride with with this bike? Reason asked I changed mine making the gears taller and the cruise rpm lower.
