LOVE when you’re talking to the camera, out in the open, assessing your shows, as the crowd passes by. Congrats on reaching your goal. Good on ya, mate. Weird crowd energy at your first locale. Great vlog, babee. And the crowd goes CRAZY!! Come ON!! ♣️
Jase, not sure if your reinventing vlogging but you’re keeping your content so interesting, varied, genuine, shot and cut wonderfully and performing it in a way that lets your authentic self come through that it’s just a really superior channel. Great episode today, I’m gonna try and hang around the Centre of Sydney more often, see if I can catch one of your shows. That looked like Vivid tonight.
The little cut when the girl came by swinging the lightsaber... i hope that edit was there cause you had to tell them just how cool that was. Lol. Good stuff, and inspiring to boot.
Hi Jason, Thank you for all of your inspiring contents :-) ! One idea (maybe not the best one for us, but the best one for your retention ratio...) maybe to combine with your vlog : You can use dual/double part content strategy, (I am not english native speaker, so excuse me if it is not so clear...) In fact, you can have in each content 2 tricks, one is the tutorial of the trick shown the previous day, and a new trick (witch shoud be explained the day after). Example : - Day 141 > vlog 1000 target + demo on trick on lighter(red/black) - Day 142 > (vlog or not) + tutorial on yesterday lighter demo + new trick (card trick or tecnics or whatever) - Day 143 > storrytelling on your vlog with a "cliffhanger" (example if it was on day 141 > final result of 1000 usd target revealed) + demo on a new trick (see you tomorrow for the revealed) - ... Enjoy ;-) ! Vincent
An other option (to monetize your content) : To do only on few of your content (so sometime only) : Show the demo in vidéo 1 + add a message "if you want to know the trick, you will find it in the link in description, you 'll find a "busking"/payment link to access to the private video of the tutorial. It also help me to continue to share my content with you. If not, see you tomorrow for a new content" To do that : - use youtube as usual, and just select the unlisted status (not public, and not private) option on your tutorial vidéo, - then use a payp4l account (or other) and parameter the link after payment to the hidden tutorial video url link. - copy paste the payp4l link in your demo video description - And it's done baby ;-) ! Enjoy ! Vincent
What a grind. Well done. Great insight on the different locals and giving the people what they want, they just don’t know that’s what they want. Great video
I’m only at show 3 but I love this video and the idea! I just saw those kids light up at the end and that always brings a smile to my face. Keep up the good work and hustle my friend, your doing good!
Love your work brother! Great humor too ngl My favourite jokes are definetly these ones: 1. "How many balls are under this cup? Exactly! Orange!" 2. "Stay off the pens, they make you paranoid. Btw if your kid understood that one, you're a bad parent!" 3. "So this is the waterfall shuffle *sprays cards into hand*, this is the waterfall shuffle but in iceland *all cards at the same time*, and this is the ex-girlfriend shuffle *shuffles cards in both hands*. looks good but does nothing!" Keep it up!
Would've loved to see more micro reactions at different points in the show from your audience. You can always see how psyched some of the kids are, would love to get a little more of that sprinkled in. Although if that's an editing nightmare forget I ever said anything and do what you can because I'll watch either way.
It would require some investments that are probably not worth it.. The quality of the videos is pretty high for the budget he has, that's one of the big reasons why people love him too
Loved seeing your day, and how hard you worked. I hope you continue to be successful and grow, both on TH-cam and as a performer. Appreciate you and I am grateful to see your content.
No need to worry over doing easy tricks, gives us newbies a chance to study and try the simple stuff ourselves! Keep up the street gigs! But don't forget to eat healthy when you can, energy drinks are always scary in the longterm.
'Loving this style Jason. It seems very natural and more like a 1-2-1. The big effects are great to see but they can sometimes feel so big and distant that it detracts from their overall credability. Not seeing how someone could make a cabbage appear from underneath a hat right in front can be far more impressive that making the Statue of Liberty disappear. People may have an idea how the statu effect was erformed but something like the cabbage they do not even see the effect coming. personally I like all magic but the 1-2-1 close up is by far my favourite. Maybe share a few "easy" card effects?
I really enjoyed this format. Very Ryan Trahan-ish and that's a compliment. Usually when I try to borrow elements from other creators, it doesn't come through, but you pulled this off quite nicely. Good work Jason!
Also, What I like about this(Chris and Wes have taked about it) is up and coming perfomers don't know what to charge or what to expect. You are showing your earnings and the amout you need to perform to achieve a goal.
I am going out on a limb and saying the weather is a strong influence on crowd energy; not just visible weather like clouds and rain, but air pressure and humidity. What's that old trope about rheumatism being influenced by a coming storm in the elderly? A quick search shows changing air pressure absolutely influences mood. Is that useful for planning busking days?
Mornings can definitely be tough. Talking about myself, i just want to get my stuff done and go home. I'm less likely to stop even if it looks interesting. There are more kids around during the day & they do Child things. Night time is play time & adult time. That's the time I'll relax, watch & enjoy what's around me. Two different energies. Honestly. I think more people are like that which effects crowd size & energy.
I love your content. I WISH I could do half as much as you, but I don’t have the patience or dexterity to do most of them. I believe I have seen every one of your 365 day posts up to now. Keep up the great work.
Yeah Jason, I did really like this one. I guess it's kinda like fishing, even the best fishing hole will let you down sometimes and the worst one can be amazing sometimes.
I love it mate. I will be honest in confessing that I don't watch the "explainer's / learning' / teaching parts of your posts. Nothing negative, it is the opposite, because I enjoy the experience of your profession so much, that knowing how it is done would take away the magic of it all. Keep doing what you do, and spending some 'magic' in the world
Good magicians should be making that much money. Especially with a show like yours. It takes hard work and it should be rewarded. Good on you man. Happy you can make that much to hopefully keep more than just the lights on.
Pretty sure I saw you setting up in Pitt Street Mall in January this year.....my 8 year old daughter wanted to watch, I said I was in a rush. My mistake! At least we are subscribers now and watch your videos together.
Hey Jason, love this series, maybe you could address a question I have. You can perform so many tricks, you're obviously very skilled, and yet in public you perform the same routines. Doesn't that get boring? I understand who have to really nail a show, seems a waste of your talent not to be blowing more minds with all your other skills. Do you ever just busk a routine? Keep going with your 365, we love it.
I'm happy you achieved your stated goal of 1000$ for a full days work with an assistant but I believe you deserve more than that and you can achieve more than that. Shouldn't the goal be selling out an arena? You certainly have the talent and you are putting in the work so hopefully you can figure out the path to those sold out arenas. I sincerely hope you manage to break into the mainstream.
Already looking forward to these types of vlogs from Edinburgh Fringe. It'll be interesting to see you face the challenge of a new type of audience there.
im malaysian busker magician but i dont have a routine just like you my main routine is spongeball, thumbcuff, and card tricks and a little mentalism tricks, but after i saw your video, its make me passionate more with my talent thank you for that feeling bro, actually i dont speak english, well i speak but i dontknow what am saying..this line is also i using in my show to non malaysian,
Hi Jason, great video as always! I have a question, out of interest: You were applying your experiences or learnings of one show to the next show, with regards to what the audience liked. Would you say that different crowds on the same day react to your shows the same? Or isnt it possible that each crowd on the same day might be totally different?
Dude you're dude you do a great job, found your channel thru shorts, and I look forward to seeing a short as I commute each morning... Keep it up, really enjoy your talent
Congratulations on having the best name in the world, also congratulations on making $1000 for the day. You are very entertaining and I would love to see you live. I might need to make a trip to Sydney. 2:15
I like your Jason plus 1 vlogs you work well with other magicians and I enjoy seeing the enthusiasm and passion that comes from you meeting up with your magical mates. How often do you change your routine or do you have planned set routines and change them up from sgow to show
Its hard for us magicians to do big circle shows like a juggler or dancer. But we can do lots of shows. On a quite day an option can be scale down and do close up trickle shows for people waiting for a bus.
I’m also doing a magic show for my wife’s birthday today - a quick 6 trick 15 minute performance. Wish me luck guys I need it and nervous af my kids are sinister lol.
It went alright. I messed up some of my planned patter but the tricks worked well. It will always be hard with teenagers that are trying to figure it out so they can tell everybody how its down. Lol the animal balloons were a big hit at the end too.
Come to the U.K. my man. Your welcome at my place - I’m a 40 min train ride from London, (otherwise it’s a Gaz zillion £ to do anything) and also from the midlands capital. All I ask me and my boy and watch. Love this stuff man!
That was awsome man. I had no idea it was possible to make that kind if money doing magic! I do it for free. Just to ew and aw people. I’m not as good as you with slight of hand but surely i could make $200 or $300 in a night and for me and my budget that would be outstanding money. I have some thinking to do.
Very interesting observation about people being more interested or generous when you changed the act to a more aggressive style. You should definitely read/listen Johann Hari's book Stolen Focus if you haven't. He says in there that it's been studied that people tend to scroll or watch longer when the content makes them angry. So it makes them more generous giving their own time. Maybe your audience finds the show more familiar when it's more on the aggressive side like their feeds' content and are being more generous with their money as well.
Not sure of you have but could you run through equipment speakers table ect that you use for street performing and your favourite routines love the content
Love your energy, your sense of humour & consistently positive vibe 😊 don’t stop posting, you are fire & we love you!
💖💛❤️🔥🧡💙🤍💜
He's really on his game!
LOVE when you’re talking to the camera, out in the open, assessing your shows, as the crowd passes by. Congrats on reaching your goal. Good on ya, mate. Weird crowd energy at your first locale. Great vlog, babee. And the crowd goes CRAZY!! Come ON!! ♣️
Dude dead set on making people give him all the money in the world through magic. I dig that 🤣
Yeah he's on it!
Idek how I stumbled across thos channel but I'm glad I did. Great dude, this dude.
We're glad you did too!
I'm doing a magic show for my nephew, Asa's birthday party today. Wish me luck! 😎🪄
Good luck my bro!!
Good luck my dude
Good luck
Good luck dude hope your effects go flawlessly!
You got this, go get them
The little cut when the girl came by swinging the lightsaber... i hope that edit was there cause you had to tell them just how cool that was. Lol. Good stuff, and inspiring to boot.
Hi Jason,
Thank you for all of your inspiring contents :-) !
One idea (maybe not the best one for us, but the best one for your retention ratio...) maybe to combine with your vlog :
You can use dual/double part content strategy, (I am not english native speaker, so excuse me if it is not so clear...)
In fact, you can have in each content 2 tricks, one is the tutorial of the trick shown the previous day, and a new trick (witch shoud be explained the day after).
Example :
- Day 141 > vlog 1000 target + demo on trick on lighter(red/black)
- Day 142 > (vlog or not) + tutorial on yesterday lighter demo + new trick (card trick or tecnics or whatever)
- Day 143 > storrytelling on your vlog with a "cliffhanger" (example if it was on day 141 > final result of 1000 usd target revealed) + demo on a new trick (see you tomorrow for the revealed)
- ...
Enjoy ;-) !
Vincent
An other option (to monetize your content) :
To do only on few of your content (so sometime only) :
Show the demo in vidéo 1 + add a message "if you want to know the trick, you will find it in the link in description, you 'll find a "busking"/payment link to access to the private video of the tutorial. It also help me to continue to share my content with you. If not, see you tomorrow for a new content"
To do that :
- use youtube as usual, and just select the unlisted status (not public, and not private) option on your tutorial vidéo,
- then use a payp4l account (or other) and parameter the link after payment to the hidden tutorial video url link.
- copy paste the payp4l link in your demo video description
- And it's done baby ;-) !
Enjoy !
Vincent

I’m only at show 3 but I love this video and the idea! I just saw those kids light up at the end and that always brings a smile to my face. Keep up the good work and hustle my friend, your doing good!
He's definitely on point.
Love that your street show is dense and condensed/short but you still build your character like a long story…
Yeah he packs a lot of punch!
Love your work brother! Great humor too ngl
My favourite jokes are definetly these ones:
1. "How many balls are under this cup? Exactly! Orange!"
2. "Stay off the pens, they make you paranoid. Btw if your kid understood that one, you're a bad parent!"
3. "So this is the waterfall shuffle *sprays cards into hand*, this is the waterfall shuffle but in iceland *all cards at the same time*, and this is the ex-girlfriend shuffle *shuffles cards in both hands*. looks good but does nothing!"
Keep it up!
First to answer
needs to add the ex wife shuffle. A 26 card shuffle
Ok! Here's me. 63 years old and, thanks to you. I've gone and bought a magic set from eBay! Should be a giggle!
That break did some justice. 👌
Hell yeah it did!
Would've loved to see more micro reactions at different points in the show from your audience. Loved seeing your day, and how hard you worked. I hope you continue to be successful and grow, both on TH-cam and as a performer. Appreciate you and I am grateful to see your content.
Love the content. Always charismatic and personable and it's you, rather than just the tricks that keep me coming back. Although the tricks are good.
No need to worry over doing easy tricks, gives us newbies a chance to study and try the simple stuff ourselves! Keep up the street gigs! But don't forget to eat healthy when you can, energy drinks are always scary in the longterm.
Real Pro. Great timing and delivery.

Your witchcraft always blows my mind and never fails to put me in a better mood. Mad props and keep it up :)

You are amazing, Jason. So inspiring!❤
He's really great.
I love the format and what you’re trying to change. Keep it up - you’re killing it!!

This was a great video.
Thank you for taking us with you.
Good Morning ☀️ Jason 😊
I Love Your street magic.
Absolutely love it
BAYYYYBEEEEEEE❤🎉
Blessings, Carlos ✝️🙏❤️😊❗️
imagine making 1000 a day😳😂 I mean I know you worked very hard that day but that is also too much😳 I am droping out of college😂🏃♀️🏃♀️
Not everyday is a weekend day, meaning you can't do that everyday.
Great work Jason. I had no idea that you could make that much out there. !!!!!! Love your show.
Mornings can definitely be tough. Talking about myself, i just want to get my stuff done and go home. I'm less likely to stop even if it looks interesting. There are more kids around during the day & they do Child things.

Great vid, very entertaining! Those early shows look hard, but good haul, totally worth the ones that don’t go so well!
Love These Type Of Videos Man!!! Would definitely like to see the process of building a crowd in your shows!! U are a great inspiration!!
Yeah Jason, I did really like this one. I guess it's kinda like fishing, even the best fishing hole will let you down sometimes and the worst one can be amazing sometimes.
Go on! I like your street videos.
Yeah man this live stuff is really great.
I love it mate.
I will be honest in confessing that I don't watch the "explainer's / learning' / teaching parts of your posts.

Great to see as well!
Very nice Challenge👍 I really enjoy the street magic so keep going
Dude. You are doing great work. Keep them coming.
I never realized how much money it was possible to make while busking. Thanks Jason
Sky's the limit!
After 11 years .👍
This was one of the best posts you’ve done. I love them all but this one was so good it seemed like it was only 2 minutes long ❤❤
So much value!
Glad you made it. I was really barracking for you to make it. Skills babeee
Definitely worthy of a like and share!
Fantastic energy and magic 🎩 👍😊👍😊
Yeah Jason really brings it.
Keep smashing it dude. 👍😎
This was great!! I wouldn't mind actually seeing you perform on the street though too!!
Thousand dollars tax-free is still really good money. great job on your videos!
Sure, I like it, you're fun to watch and do some great work. Thank you.
Good magicians should be making that much money. Especially with a show like yours. It takes hard work and it should be rewarded. Good on you man. Happy you can make that much to hopefully keep more than just the lights on.

Outstanding work brother.
His video keep getting better and better
Good work my dude !

Congratulations on reaching your goal

So, Street-Magicians are super rich. I never thought of that. Imagine making about 500-1000$ per DAY. Not even a dentist is making that much ^-^.
Yeah but that's gotta be once or twice a week at peak tourism season not consistent
@@isanyoneelseheretoday Even if 1-2 per week. Its still 5-8k :D. Nearly nobody is making that per month in a usual job.
No … lol for every 1000 dollar day there is a zero dollar day .
If only that were the case!
Congrats! 💯👍🍾👽
Hi Jason, great video as always! I have a question, out of interest: You were applying your experiences or learnings of one show to the next show, with regards to what the audience liked. Would you say that different crowds on the same day react to your shows the same? Or isnt it possible that each crowd on the same day might be totally different?
And the crowd goes wild!!!!!!!!
thank you so much you give me entertainment i honestly appreciate it
This is so inspiring, man I would love to do this as a career
Gotta start as a hobby!
Dude you're dude you do a great job, found your channel thru shorts, and I look forward to seeing a short as I commute each morning... Keep it up, really enjoy your talent
Loved this ❤

Enjoyed this style very much!
I would love to hear about your techniques for building a crowd. Can you do a video about that?
Keep up the great work, man
It's easy to cheer for you! I'm glad you have the support and (s)tability of good ol' Old Reliable™.
It really is!
Love your stuff!
I know what you're saying. ❤💪🏿
Loving this
Great video, interesting concept!
That’s above 600 US dollars in a day 😮 I wish I was a magician 😂 great content man 👏🏻
I love all your content!!!
If you show up, I'm there, baby. 💪
Love thissss
I’m also doing a magic show for my wife’s birthday today - a quick 6 trick 15 minute performance. Wish me luck guys I need it and nervous af my kids are sinister lol.
Best of luck. Break a leg bro
It went alright. I messed up some of my planned patter but the tricks worked well. It will always be hard with teenagers that are trying to figure it out so they can tell everybody how its down. Lol the animal balloons were a big hit at the end too.
Awesome video ! Really interesting
And I’ve see that u make the best videos Jason
Great job reaching your goal!! I saw you switch the black and red lighter 😊😊
Come to the U.K. my man. Your welcome at my place - I’m a 40 min train ride from London, (otherwise it’s a Gaz zillion £ to do anything) and also from the midlands capital. All I ask me and my boy and watch. Love this stuff man!

Great video because it shows everyone a "day in the life" and it was cool to see you have a goal and not just show us a street show
Not the craziest but that vanish was SICK Baby.
l e g i t
Great vlog👍
Very interesting observation about people being more interested or generous when you changed the act to a more aggressive style. You should definitely read/listen Johann Hari's book Stolen Focus if you haven't. He says in there that it's been studied that people tend to scroll or watch longer when the content makes them angry. So it makes them more generous giving their own time. Maybe your audience finds the show more familiar when it's more on the aggressive side like their feeds' content and are being more generous with their money as well.

:)
Not sure of you have but could you run through equipment speakers table ect that you use for street performing and your favourite routines love the content
Always love the street performing, do you ever do close up at parties or business events or stuff like that? Just curious.
Yes I do haha harder to film those though because of clients rules etc haha
Awesome 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
