NEVER do tape ins, do glue ins instead. Tape ends get sticky overtime and they make your hair goopy, they cause more damage and breakage. With glue in extensions, they don't cause damage at all. As soon as the glue dries it's not tacky, it doesn't stick or pull your hair. It lasts 4-6 weeks depending on growth and you can do it at home for under 20 dollars. I have 24in glue in extensions, it was 10 dollars for the pack and I still have some left over. The glue was 2 dollars for a small bottle. It took 45 minutes because my natural hair slips and slides around after it is straightened so there was a bit of fighting to get it to stay in the clips. My hair looks DAMN good, I've been getting more compliments than usual on it. My bangs and fringe (I'm emo) are neon green with black stripes so I always get compliments on that, but right now I'm getting more compliments than usual. Since I've been emo since I was in the womb, I've always cut my own hair. I easily blended it by using the same method I always do. I don't have a hair razor so I use scissors to slide cut, then I take a regular shaving razor and go over the top layer. For 14 dollars, it looks fucking fantastic. I can't believe people pay hundreds of dollars every single month on shitty extensions. You can always see tape in extensions, weaves, and clip ins. You can't see this at all even when I part my hair where the wefts are. My natural hair is shoulder length so it covers the tracks when I part my hair. It is SEAMLESS. Glue in extensions come out with conditioner, you rub them on each weft and let them sit a bit, the they come right out without any pulling.
Oh this is so helpful, Thank you! I especially like the part where you show how to use the razor from underneath the hair, that made a big difference in how it melted together!
I really wish I would have watched this video before I went and got my hair extensions put in. I had them sew-in and my medium length bob haircut is not blended well at all. I’ve had them in almost one week and I’m miserable. I have a follow-up appointment on January 3 to see if we should take them out or she’s going to show me how to curl my hair. I have pin-straight hair like your model, and prefer it straight. If we end up taking them out, I’m worried it will look butchered since she texturized my natural hair a lot. 😭 Also wish you were located in Washington State - you are very talented
Looks good in the end but man as a hairstylist I was cringing the entire time she was drafting that razor along dry damaged hair. I’ve always had belami extensions and they’re good but hers actually look quite damaged and dead. I’m sure it’s mostly cuz of the natural fried hair on top.
Before it actually blended really well just less layered 😅 The stylist did the utmost to blend in the short natural hair to the extensions and layer it tho
These are most likely beaded row sewn in wefts. Not tape ins. And yes u can put them back in the same position no matter the type. For clips or tape ins you can secure them to a styrofoam head in area they were on your head
she cut way too much and she should never have cut her real hair! she is there for length not to havd thin short hair when the extensions are taken out
Good tutorial however the quality of Bellamy hair extensions is suffering all methods shed terribly so when you’re carving out this much hair and it’s shedding your left with almost no hair in three months. extensions become very thinned out from shedding and the initial cut to blend
not a fan of cutting extentions for framing the face or layers , i been wearing bellami extentions for years and although they are worth the price they are very expensive , im keeping every inch of my expensive extentions , people who cut them especially with them on the head gives me anxiety !
Be careful with adding to many k tips or too many and too heavy of wefts to a persons hair. Also be VERY careful with thinning their natural hair out. I had my extensions in for 10 months total and my hair I HAVE LOST 3/4 of the density of my natural hair. Some of straight from the scalp and some of it snapped or singed off in the extension connection. Just get clip ins and don’t let someone ruin your hair for the next entire year. 😢😢 No mater what they tell you, your own hair WILL SUFFER.
The best tutorial I have ever seen on TH-cam.
Katpee is extremely talented. She knows it all and is extremely humble and generous in her teaching. Love her!
This is the most beautiful blend I’ve ever seen done omg I wish she could do my hair I would actually do tape ins or something again lol

That trick for the shelf was amazing, it blending in so seamlessly
She is an excellent instructor

Glad it was helpful! ❤️
Very clear and precise Ali. Love, love your demo❤
This model looks so nervous when she starts cutting!
She looks like she’s about to cry :(
She looks like she didn’t like the final result lol
She seems like she feels awkward which honestly I would too if I had a camera pointed at my face while I'm getting a haircut 😂
Her tuck was probably hurting

Great cut however can this be done without taking so much length off?
after you blended the top part of her hair into the extensions I was like wow! great tips
The under the natural hair blend was on point!
I’ve never had to trust the process more in my life

What color are those extensions ? I absolutely love Bellami !!!
Wowwwwww. Would love to see this done with the shears :) but this is AMAZING!
Beautifully explained!!
I love this video ❤
Amazing video!
Awesome tutorial! Great tips ❤
So satisfying to watch

Me too, I don't know that I would ever use a razor on hair extensions. I would be afraid after you washed them they would become very frizzy
Very informative thank you 😊

I’d much rather have the speakers hair. She’s beautiful
I dont know if the amoint of hair taken off her hair to blend it is worth it
You are the BEST!
These extensions are tape-ins? If she had clip-ins wouldn't the position change on each application? Just wondering. Thank you.
I used to have clip ins and I cut them and of course they never looked the same because yes you can never put them in the same exact way 😅

Where can I get a blade like that
Well done! Thanks!!
Great tips!
What brand razor are you using?
she cut way too much and she should never have cut her real hair! she is there for length not to havd thin short hair when the extensions are taken out
I agree.. hair looks butchered now.

Who should we use?
Girl I want you to do my weave!
huh? did you say you are gaslit into keeping you're extensions as long as possible or did i hear that incorrectly?
How does she know she is not cutting her ReAl hair?
Who is the Model?
Thx u so much
