SANTA MONICA CHURCH, Panay, Capiz: The Biggest Church Bell in Southeast Asia

“DAKUNG LINGGANAY” Hiligaynon dialect for Big Bell, measuring five feet in height, seven feet in diameter, and weighs 10,400 kilograms is the biggest church bell in Southeast Asia. It is located in Santa Monica Church, popularly known as Panay Church, situated in the municipality of Panay, province of Capiz. The church was re-built in 1884 and was declared a National Historical Landmark in 1997.
