I like the tool. The only complaint i have for it is that it keeps on breaking the rotor zip bits. I don't know why but it breaks them. But other than that it's a nice cut out tool.

You are correct, the SCO 6-A22 is made in China. Hilti is a global company. We make and source our products under strict quality control guidelines in places like California, Texas, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein and Mexico.
so what, they have their own factory in china to make their stuff, unlike many other power tool makers that employ generic factories to make their stuff without proper quality control

Hilti is a privately held company with manufacturing sites globally. Everything Hilti makes is made to Hilti specifications.
