Thank you so much for reviewing both of these products! I really love the look of the Kosas blushes, and they come in such beautiful colors. But I just can't bring myself to get anything from Kosas after my friends have purchased their products (concealer and setting powder) and the products went bad in 6 months or less. I really wish that Hourglass would come out with more blush shades (in cool tones!) since their formula is still my favorite for when I want something easy and dependable.
I dont know about these blushes but I have the Kosas powder in the regular and mini and I’ve had them for well over a year and they are both fine. Since they are a dry product I wonder if they don’t go bad nearly as quickly as their liquid products. Had to edit the typos. Also in terms of the hourglass blushes, I say do t be afraid to mix colors on the cheek with different powder shades and different blush shades to make new colors. Because hourglass makes the basic shades. Expanding shade colors is I think variations of basic colors.
Beautiful try on rebecca. Thanks for this review. I was tempted by the new kosas blushes but I don’t use powder blush and I have some gorgeous ones even after giving away most of them to my nieces. I keep them for when I need to touch up quickly or set my blush if I’m in humidity, which really never happens. that is so funny that people have a problem with using their own products on lips and cheeks. At 55 I used lipstick on my cheeks for years before cream blush formulas came out. It’s the oldest trick out there. Lisa Eldridge is a big lipstick user on the checks. I’d love to see a comparison between the kosas formula and look with hourglass. You look great with the new hair!
Thank you so very much. I tend to go back-and-forth between lips and cheeks but it really upsets people on the comment section. You learned the strangest things about people when you’re on TH-cam ha ha ha ha
Kosas has really nailed the packaging. It has a very summery, "on vacation in the Greek Islands" vibe. The yellow Golden Hour Filter bronzer compact especially. The blush in the "Butterflies" shade swatched beautifully on me in Sephora. I'm definitely getting it.
I picked up the Haus Lab Glassy Blush Balm in Glassy Pomelo and love it, arrived yesterday played with it and wearing today for the last 5 hours and hasn't budged and I did not put powder over it, but did layer this on top of my Haus Labs highlighter and it did fine, no issues will most likely go back for the Rosette when it's available since both Pomelo and Rosette are my 2 favorites in the powder formula.
Funny as I wasn’t even thinking about either of these. HL rosette really looked nice on you. Here’s my idea that came to me watching this morning, would you do a round up blush video, like you did for foundations released this year. ( if do, please include highlighters that could be blush like Danessa Myricks). I think I can’t be alone that people would love that.
I'm tempted by the Haus Labs (I also want their powder blushes). I'm holding out until they do a sale. We still don't have the brand at Sephora Australia.
Wait!... Would you maybe make a rundown or ranking if best blushes w a little sheen? Interested in the least "fuzzy" blush on the market that looks healthy and has a little 'life' for my dry skin. Thinking I am not the only one who has this need 😊
Okay I havent been interested in Kosas, it just doesn't seem like anything I need, but these blushes caught my eye. I might end up with one. They feel so tropical and summer.
You are beautiful❤ I really love the look of these Kosas blushes-especially the one called Butterflies! But, their products going bad after six months makes me nervous. I swore I would never buy a Kosas item because of that but these blushes have me weak. I think I’ll just get one at first (I want several shades) and make sure to use it as much as I can and see what happens after six months.
I'm not a blush wearer as I've never found a way to apply it where it looks flattering on my round face.... but that kosas blush looks so pretty!! So tempted
Hi Rebecca, if you could only buy one - these new Haus labs cream stick blushers OR Pat McGrath's cream stick blush, which would choose and why? Thanks! xx
I heard glassy and I was positive it would feel like flypaper. And last night even after I edited my review, I was looking at the promo pictures and it is so shiny on the models. So I don’t know if it’s me but this was not glassy at all. It was very pretty but it wasn’t glassy.
@@NotFitforPrintBeauty yes it loaded super shiny on models. But they may loaded it up for effect. Sephora has 500 points on 75$ or more orders for Memorial Day. Do make sure to snag it. I know you will rush at check out lol.
Hi Rebecca! During the Sephora sale I bought their new dual ended multipurpose brush and was shocked at how small the brush head was when it arrived in the mail. It was way too small and dense for their powder blush! Now these small cream blushes make total sense!! Wish I hadn’t returned it lol. I bought the lilac and can’t wait to try it! ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for yet another great video 🙂 How do these sticks compare to the new Armani blushes that also have a little bit of sheen? I'm debating between those two.
I love them both. But totally different products. This is very much like a gel or a serum and they Armani is very much a liquid. The Armani actually looks beautiful on the lips as well. This one is not great on lips
If I want a beautiful baked swirl blush, I’m buying Laura Geller (and it won’t go bad quickly like my Kosas baked bronzer did) As usual I’ve been excited to hear about a new product (Haus Labs blushes) and you have the first review I’ve seen!! You are a marvel! I have LOVED the Pat McGrath blush sticks so these caught my eye especially because they seemed like they’d be similar but have different shades. These looked really blendable and beautiful on you. The way you described them really reminds me of the Pat sticks which is great for me. I’m definitely getting one of these to try the formula! Did you say you used a Rephr prototype brush for the second Kosas blush? 👀 THAT made my ears perk up! 😂😂😂😂😂
I think it’s a prototype that never became anything, that brush. I’ve had it for a while and I think I finally just started using it didn’t realize I grabbed it for the video. Usually I try not to do that. The Pat McGrath labs product is very similar if not maybe identical to these but I actually think he blend a little better and that could be in my head
Thanks for reviewing these products. I was curious on both of these products. I hear that the Haus blush removes your foundation when blended in. I am not really liking these cosmetic companies making products multi uses. They seems to not really work well. Like the Haus blush & lips.
Hi Rebecca, nice 💇♀️ Haircut! I def wanna try these. Most interested in the Butterflies shade in Kosas but it’s sold out. I’ll have to see whats in store. They all look nice on you 😊
Wow, they both look beautiful on you, dear Rebecca!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩I still have a lot of blush, and true, clean beauty products go bad more quickly, i had to dump a beloved bronzer stick from Rare Beauty, as it smelled strange, i had a back up, but clean beauty for makeup, perfect goal maybe, but to do it...i mean i also have some clean skincare, but is a certain jar from Barbara Sturm, well i go through these quickly, that is different than makeup. If i would need a new blush now (still swimm in them to be honest) i would for sure try the Haus Labs. However, powder is always so easy. Well, i love them both! Who looks this video and never purchased blush, or decluttered most, i think both options are perfect! Well, when i think more, i remember Kosas has also such a cute lilac shade if i am not wrong. This is getting to long 😂have to correct our little cute terrorist on 4 feet.🐶🙃 Great video! Comparing apples and oranges! Interesting! Here it is apples and pears. Was just listening. Have a wonderful day!!!😘😘😘😘
So HL "dries" down and still remains shiny? I have mature skin with slight texture and need a satin finish . Is that how you'd describe the final end finish?
I have to tell you, on me, it’s right down but was never shiny. I’m not entirely sure if it’s my face or what’s happening because the models have such glass looking skin and, on me, it was just a natural finish
I think the record for longest cosmetics name goes to NYX and their: "Slide on, Glide on, Stay on & Definitely a Turn On, Waterproof Eyeliner" or the shiny version which is slightly longer and called: "Slide on, Glide on, Stay on & Definitely a Turn On,. Waterproof Extreme Shine Eyeliner". So that's 13 and 15 words, respectively. 😎✌🏼💜
First product from Haus Labs that caught my eye when I saw it at Sephora. I have never tried the brand. I think I’m the only one in this world that haven’t tried the brand 😂❤

The kosas remind me of the Milani baked blushes. Very pretty, I got the lilac haus and euphoria in kosas ❤
Oh yes. That’s a really good comparison
I saw the new Tarte Shape Tape Glow Blush Bar face palette in Ulta today - it looks gorgeous!😍 I was like, oooooh, Rebecca should review that!😂😂💅💄

I completely and absolutely have to do a new blush round up, karen.

The Kosas blushes are super pretty. I like the Euphoria shade. they all look similar so to me it’s a bit challenging picking the right shade.

I like the kosas because it’s almost a little bit blush topper like. So it doesn’t really feel like blush if you just do one quick layer.
