Hi, What if a solicitor is slow and not providing a good service or regular communication can we change to another solicitor part way through or would this be an expensive move? Do we find a surveyor ourselves or is it something an Estate Agent/ Solicitor can provide? Thanks
If you are having issues it's always worth escalating it to senior partners in the same firm. If they can resolve it then it should save you time. In respect of surveyors then no you do not have to rely on an estate agent for this and might be worth getting some quotes depending on the survey you need. This might help www.moveiq.co.uk/advice/exchange-and-completion/choose-surveyor-guide-surveys/ and we can connect you with a local surveyor here: www.moveiq.co.uk/tools/home-buyers-guide/home-buyer-survey-quote/
