/ rmspeltz We are showing the 665 John Deere Tiller and how is works for us, this tiller really performed well even in frozen Minnesota ground. The tractor pulling it is the 3720 John Deere
I have a tiller like that one on my tractor and it seem to work just fine for me. The one thing I would recommend to anyone using any tiller is mow the grass down before running your tiller through it as I saw one friend who ran his tiller through a grassy area without cutting the tall grass and ended up with a big mess and his tiller was clogged down by those weeds and left him unable to do anything until all the grass was cleared out of the tiller, which wasn't easy.
very cool! I heard you say they have belt drive tillers? why would someone make that lol I own a frontier 2283,83" wide and it's an aggressive tiller! Just curious, do you know if there's a way to set the tiller where it can firm the seed bed as your tilling? I put in food plots for a living and I've used cultipackers or harrows on the back and it's pain I cannot get the roller cage attachment for mine, if you know it's possible let me know we're soaked here but as soon as it dries out we're going to play around and find out ;)
I am use to seeing our turf farm tiller. It's psycho huge at 10' wide with a rock roller/clod buster behind it. It's scary, dig too deep too fast and it will push a very large tractor forward. I should make a video of it in action and show ya.
Actually we have and it needs rearr end weights lol, I dont know if it could lift the ft bales a over 1500lbs but lift 1000lbs any day just too tippy with out weight, butt haul works better, the 4720 series we have doesnt much better inthe frt lift bale area
Great discussion, loved the way you explained the use and got a smile from watching those pumpkins get drilled
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi, I have a 665 tiller and it has 6 tines on each collar 8 across. Thanks for the video.

Great looking tiller. Would love to give one a try sometime.
