This is great idea! I love the fact you are not only showing tools but also examples what you are using them for. Thank you for sharing your experience!
Superb. A man of few words😉😊 An issue I have with adding in such small parts is that they don’t stay. The CA sticks to the tweezer or the part sticks to the tweezer and not where I am trying to put it. Then I have to manhandle the small part in place, flow in CA glue, usually too much, and hit it with kicker. Messy and usually residue. Your placements look much more precise🤔
I like the green ones with the fine point steel tips...when you bust those tweezers out it's usually to open doors, trunks, hoods on finished models. The fruits of your efforts finally revealed.
Thanks for this I’m sure I’ll not be the only one who had been wondering about the different types of tweezers you use. I almost couldn’t wait for it to finish so I could check them out on internet 😝 I take it there’ll be more if this is 01 👍
I have become addicted to your videos, they are an amazing inspiration. Your craftmanship is unmatched by anything I have seen. I have dreams abnout tweezers now. I am curious about that white block, is that a nylon block and doesv it have useful qualities for the building work?

So I have looked everywhere for those Dumont tweezers... can you tell me where you purchased those? I have also discovered that there are several type of ss140 tweezers... which one specifically?

Thank you for starting to detail the tools you use, done in the same excellent way you produce the car build videos. As someone with a pair of eyes well into their eighth decade, I can't help but wonder if you use some sort of magnifying visor (or other optical help) for this level of work? If so, which one? Stunning models, btw.
Thanks for the response - much appreciated. I wondered if that was what you were using because it seems to attract good reviews. Difficult to source in the UK ... certainly at a sensible price ...
Where do you purchase all your metal pieces that you use on your models ie the very thin aluminium , along with the rivets and extra part from? Kind regards Barry P.S. love your work!
Let's not forget the most important tools of them all: two rock steady hands, excellent eyesight and incredible patience!

It's wonderful and a privilege to be able to watch you work. They are very nice tools, but it is the skill of the workman that creates the masterwork.
Thank you. Tools don't solve everything, but I think great tools make my work more efficient. If I find a good tool, I will also be greedy. lol

A really impression collection of tools! And you handle it like Herbert von Karajan his baton.
Love your attention to detail on the models that you do.
Great video thank you for showing us the pliers you use for your models, thank you again

You are an artist never seen such fine work like this
I love these kind of videos.Thank you!
The tweezers is strong with you... Very impressive skills sir, thanks for sharing. Have a great day. -David

I don't remember exactly, but I bought it from an internet shop. The type can be found on the dumonttweezers.com homepage.

Truly fascinating seeing the "tools of your trade" in action , looking forward to your next build , any ideas what it may be ?

Most of them were purchased from domestic model shops, and some special metals were purchased from Japan.

Hello Sir! I have a question about the audio/video setup of your fantastic work. Camera type, microphone?
I just shoot with an iPhone 14pro.
Impressive :) Thank you for info
🫡 you DA man 🫡😝🇺🇸
It appears to me that the four needle-pointed tweezers all perform the same function. Why have all four?
Yes, the four functions almost the same. It's just because of the greed for tools.
to me and you Tweezers. but in the hands of a master they are tools....

More tools!
Are you a watch maker or jeweler by trade??
Oh no! Only 01:00 min in and my OCD is triggered. Hope that hair didn't cause problems later in the build! 🥵
Relax. I removed the hair.
That's like - £100 on tweezers alone.
Where did you get the micro nut and bolt assortment I often see you use on your builds? Link?
You can find it by searching for Hobby Design or Top Studio Rivets. Thanks.
