Good interview bro as you noticed you had a mic issue on your side. Also just some constructive feedback try to dive into some of his deployments and have them share some stories and what not in the future. You’re doing a great job with your channel keep it going

After hearing him mention fort hood I just wanted to give a fun fact that General Hood, who the base was originally named after (now changed to Fort Cavazos) is related to former Green Beret Mike Glover.

Im one of the AA’s who made excuses. I was offered rip but I’m terrified of heights. The obstacle courses/rappelling weren’t a problem but jumping out of a plane is a big difference. I honestly tried learning to swim. Paid for lessons to try out for the German badge thing, and I learned a little. They could not teach me how to float though so once I got tired I was going to drown if it was deep enough.

Jay. Do you think national guard SF is just as fulfilling as active army route? I am not very knowledgeable with proper terminology, please forgive me. It seems like there is a stigma behind "part time sf guys", but it is a very attractive option for individuals like myself without going into too much detail describing my personal life. I don't wish to be a weekend warrior in any capacity. Just a civilian who realized after graduating from college they may have a passion/calling for something else in life and going active duty via big army is likely a foolish decision setting myself up for failure later in life, not necessarily the military. Surely I'm not the only one in this type of situation.
Thank you for all of the free content you continue to provide.

Dude contact a recruiter and go to SFRE to see what it’s all about. Had those same questions, now I’m going to SFAS in two months.

@@imkoalafiedd sick brother go get after it. I Plan on contacting 19th recruiter out of Texas once sfe ready. Was hesitant to ask them too many questions and not give the impression of a serious candidate. Did the recruiter you spoke with respond well to questions similar to my previous comment? Best of luck to you.

Thanks for service Jay, graduating high school in a few months and was just wondering what you think I should do. I wanna go SF but you have to be at least 19 which they just switched from originally being 20 in the past few years, but anyways, I wanna go army right away so what should I do. Should I just wait a year and then go 18x, go into big army and then try SF after a few years, go National Guard and then go 18x after a few years National Guard, or should I go to national guard then try and go National guard sf after a year or two?
