Yeah, that's one thing I always felt sucked in the game, that Sayaka, Mukuro, Imposter, and Rantaro never got to have a time in the trials
@@damiantubbs4032 V3 had the demo, right? I dont remember much of it besides Makoto and Hajime being there and Hiro being dead, but Rantaro somewhat had that right?
@@triggerknight2011 Even in the demo, Rantaro sat out of the trial, because there were only 16 seats, and there were 18 people with Makoto and Hajime there, Rantaro and Keebo didn't participate

For Case 1, Grace didn't say anything, but Toshiko still didn't say anything. So I think Toshiko will at least survive the next chapter.
@@syllable1908 Toshiko, Grace, Mark, and Jett have to live far because all of them besides Grace (Who has 0), have only two available FTE's, and they have to have enough FTE's before they die

Especially because we can see all the participants have a chance to be in a trial, considering in the normal games we never got to see Sayaka, Byakuya (Imposter), and Rantaro be in the class trials

Not to mention that ALL of the students now know what they’re getting into if they kill someone, so whoever the Chapter 1 blackened is will be trying their hardest to cover it up instead of leaving practically all of the evidence everywhere.

It's cool that everyone contributes in the closing arguments in this game, makes it feel like more of a group effort instead of just the protag carrying them to the right answer. If another official mainline DR game ever got made it's something I'd like to see in that too.
Maybe I'm on the minority's side about it, but I was a bit annoyed by this haha. Like, I got all the answers right, carried the trial by correcting all their dumb arguments, solved most of the riddles by myself... From a player's perspective I deserved to have my climactic time to shine without the others stealing the show lol.

@@thomasa6262 I agree with you honestly. Some of the characters just don't feel fit to have input in the closing argument. I don't enjoy the character quirks that they add to the summary. I much prefer the dramatic, normal reading that the protagonist characters always do. Now it feels like some of the seriousness is being taken out of it which is kinda sad. I'm hoping that it's just for the prologue since there wasn't actually a real victim and that if it happens in the other chapters that the side characters take it more seriously and act more serious during the closing argument

The way she acts in general is also pretty sus. She directed everyone's attention at Tozu when he made his grand appearance, she immediately steered the group into going inside the house with the body when everyone else got distracted discussing whether it could really be Eden's Garden Academy or not. She does seem too obvious to be the mastermind, but I think she could still be a traitor.
Such a cool climax theme. I heard it for the first time in a plush Danganronpa series. Oh boy did it rock

Hearing this for the first time in a real case, exposing Eva for Wolfgang's murder... it's good to be back. That chapter was a ROLLERCOASTER of emotions, I'd say it was one of the best first cases I've seen, arguably even better than any mainline ones.

I agree with Weeby and think that Daon is the mastermind.
@@Jake_NekoNekoyamai don't think this game will have a mastermind among the students. This game uses the base concept of danganronpa but it is in a completely different universe, and the devs said they didn't want to use danganronpa clichés (i mean Danganronpa is not in the title at all) so i don't expect stuff like double murder in chapter 3 or a mastermind hiding among the students. The mastermind is probably just toru and mara's group and rather than figure out who did it it is about why they did it.
I don't rule out the possibility of a traitor or someone who knows more than others though.
