Well, that's what the videos are aiming for, trying to help get in the right mindset to solve the problems during your chess games

I learned how to checkmate with a bishop and a knight but I forgot the specifics since it was a long time ago and I don't get to practice it very much

The main thing is to know it when the chance presents itself :)

The video was very instructive, interesting and end game explanation was also nice. However, I do have to strongly disagree with theme of this video. Now some endgames are definitely sorta important, especially pawn and rook endgames but here you show one of the rarest endgames that occurs. Majority of players will get close no improvement by working on this technique as this endgame is rarely ever seen. Mastering this technique will hence only assert a win instead of a guaranteed draw if this ever happens. One could argue that it also improves your overall chess - I personally don't think that, perhaps slightly but most players are better off playing actual games and doing ensuing game analysis. Would discourage anyone under ~2000 FIDE wasting their time learning these complicated and rare endgames such as this or Queen vs Rook etc.

Thank you for your feedback, both positive and negative. I understand your point.
To be fair though, the video is not only about how to checkmate with k+b. Before that, it was also a very instructive part of the game, where I shared tips on how to outplay the opponent in the k+b vs rook endgame. This one happens much more often.
In general, my point is to bring more attention to the endgame technique (I plan to make more videos on this). That you should work on it to improve your chess level. Because so many people overestimate opening preparation too much and underestimate endgame knowledge/technique.
