My 1998 Furby Collection 5/7/2020

- I have 21 official Furbies in my collection and 3 fakes! I didn’t realize just how many of my Furbies were named Doo-moh, I knew I had a few but 6? Wow. And I have 3 named Kah-dah!

Just a quick note cause I don’t want to remake the video, I got the Toad Shelby to work! It has a bit of an issue though that it will sometimes awaken itself if you leave the batteries in
Furbishes and Baby Brainys need some help to re-open their eyes when they fall asleep
They actually seem to do it on their own as long as you don’t close them if they end up staying open.
The first Furby I ever got was the dalmatian and the name was doo-moh. Once I took it out camping and when it was in the trunk every time my dad would turn a corner it would yell "WHEE!" and go about in it's Furby way. Then we put some seed around it to attract squirrels and every time it would move or speak, it would act like how some humans would...they'd run away as fast as they could. But unlike some of those humans, they eventually warmed up to the little furball and nibbled upon the seed and sniffed at it without fear. Sadly it broke one day. I still have dreams of getting that Furby back, even 21 years later. Glad to see your collection!
I never thought that I would find furbys cute but I found this video so cute especially how they say they’re own names I didn’t even know they did that, I still have my furbys btw

Furby Rocker yeah it’s crazy how many of my furbies have it! Got another with that name now, they just keep coming!

Electronic Gore! I’m glad you found the factory codes interesting. My Hawaiian furby is definitely having motor troubles, it seems to be a very common problem with JT furbies unfortunately. My JT cheetah furby has a similar problem though it’s not as severe. Thankfully it’s not a problem with every single JT, my Dalmatian is working perfect.
Ohh yeah I've seen that with a lot of JT furbs just don't last as long. Wonder if the factory they were manufactured in just dont have the same quality materials? Not sure but I do love how ridiculously tall they all look in comparison to other furbies -

Electronic Gore! Yeah the JT furbies do look abnormally tall! I’ve also noticed that RL furbies seem to have a differently shaped face than other furbies
Ah yeah yeah! I think It'd be really fun to make some sort of chart listing the physical and functional differences between each type of furby
The tropical furby looks to have very slow motors.
It is very common with JT Furbys (mine does too)
Yeah, I actually recently got his motor replaced, haven’t made a video of it yet though.

That’s a nice collection. I only have 2 working 1998 Furbys (Mason fully works, Blaine is mute) and Furby Baby works. All the rest don’t 😞 My luck with good furbys really isn’t that high

did you notice that almost all JT Furbys have bad motors
lolcat yes actually, it’s very unfortunate. I actually replaced the motor on one of my JT Furbys and it seems to work much better now, I haven’t put him all the way back together yet though. I have one JT Dalmatian that has a nice motor, he’s one of my best working furbys actually!

Several of them have the same name - funny how, when they get to interact with each other, they don’t seem to acknowledge that they have the same name - unlike us humans, if we meet someone for the first time whose name is exactly the same as yours - first forename, other forenames and surname - even the spelling!
