No plans for CV so far unfortunately. I have a think about it ... problem is that the PB runs on 3.7V LiPo. A CV block would require a higher voltage - maybe a charge pump could help.
I just tried the sync input example today with my volca keys, I had to swap the top multiply block from -1 to +1 and I used a subtract value of 0.1 - so it seems the firmware has now been updated as you suggested would happen. This was using patchblocks editor v. 0.5.3 on 13/6/16
I tried with both volcas I have (sampler and keys), and did not work. When I Changed the multiply to a positive value, it started to sync via volca's cv out. Why this?
What Im aiming to do, is get the external step sequencer (mine has gate out as well as CV out) to actually control the input frequency of the PB generator. I don't want the PB to be triggered for drum type percussion.. Im hoping to use my step sequencer to actually play the PB as I control the sequencer. Is that possible? Ive tried altering what you've shown us, swapped pattern blocks for generators.. but all I seem to be able to get is a trigger of the same note? Is there some other type of conversion required?
the problem i have with syncing the volca this way is that you only get 8 triggers per meausure. This means you can only make an 8 step sequencer. Could there be a way to get the extra 16th notes? I would say using a trigger delay could help but then you automaticly would get a shuffled track which isnt allways the goal...

Changing the multiply block alone got the examples working for me - thanks for highlighting this!
