Hi everyone! I had such a great time working on this little gas stove, and I’m thrilled to have saved it and made it usable again-even though one of the burners seemed beyond repair due to heavy damage. It was quite the challenge, but the results made it all worthwhile! If you enjoyed this restoration, don’t forget to hit that like button and share your thoughts in the comments-I’d love to hear from you! Cheers, Johnny
Very nice work R.S.. I couldn't tell what kind of penetrant that you were using, but I have a suggestion for you... Give this a try, mix up a 50-50 mixture of Acetone and Automatic transmission fluid... The acetone will carry the ATF into places that regular penetrant won't reach.. Spray it on a few hours before disassembly... It has been tested by project farm and found to exceed the highest price penetrants... And it's dirt cheap to make... Mix up a gal... Just keep the lid tight so the acetone doesn't evaporate.... Again, very nice video, thx for sharing...
Прекрасная работа! Много труда- отличный результат. Впечатляет! Только в описании к видео указан год изготовления 1920- начало ХХ века, а в конце- уже плита изготовлена в начале 19 века.
Vinegar will dissolve rust. Baking soda makes the vinegar bubble and looks cool, but also neutralizes it. So you're making the vinegar much less effective by putting the baking soda in.
Yes, but it is a long and painful process. It is extremely difficult to get rid of it and a professional enamel kit costs quite a bit of money. But yes, it is possible.
Also the Teflon tape should be harvested at full moon by tibetian virginal yeti females not below 6000 meters above sea level. Believe me, The Book says so.

Breathing in those burning WD-40 fumes can't be good for you 💀
Thanks for your care, but I always have a mask. That's why the heavy breathing sounds.
@rustyshadesrestoration Oh good! 👍
I wish more people would fix/restore instead of throwing things away, great video!
I more than agree! Thank you! 🙂
Your channel is so fascinating to me. It's amazing how you can restore something that looks beyond repair or use and make it look new again.
Thank you very much!
Great save. I love seeing old appliances given a new life.
Nice video, you did a great job.
Thank you, Andrew!

Cool result - considering what you were working with...
Thanks! I'm glad you like it.
@@rustyshadesrestoration very much :)
رائع
Love your videos but is there a way to put "Before" and "After" pictures side by side so they're easier to compare? Thanks.
In the video, not really, because I should make them smaller to fit, so you won't see any details.
Did you lower the psi on the blasting unit so you wouldn't damage the enamel?
Yes I did.
Con la llama roja??????😮😮😮😮
Sí, porque no abrí esos pequeños tapones en el tubo, para dejar fluir el oxígeno con el fin de conseguir azul la llama.
Can the enamel be completely removed and redone as if new? I'm curious about that.
Yes, but it is a long and painful process. It is extremely difficult to get rid of it and a professional enamel kit costs quite a bit of money. But yes, it is possible.
Dude you really need to get some Evaporust
I have multiple ways of cleaning rust, including a very expensive laser. The idea is to show people different methods, not to Evaporust every time 😅
Well done buddy but in My opinión i fixes the part un the stove the rest 🇻🇪👍🏻🤗
Bro went through all that just to make unseasoned chicken.
😂😂😂
Flame should be blue, adjust the vents
That's right, I just forgot to do it on camera. 🙂
Yellow Teflon tape should be used on gas piping.
Why yellow? Mine is white and it is special for gas. Maybe is different from one country to another. Where are you located? 😀
Also the Teflon tape should be harvested at full moon by tibetian virginal yeti females not below 6000 meters above sea level. Believe me, The Book says so.
Teflon for gas piping where I’m at is blue haha
