As a teenager in the 1990s living in Southern California I used to use the excuse of wanting to stay up late on Saturday nights to watch SNL. The truth is I was always looking forward to the Crazy Gideon commercials shown only late at night. I was never interested in buying a discounted washing machine as at teen, but that guy made want to.

I honestly don't even understand how video games tied into what he was saying. He started off talking about one car accidents and then mentioned video games out of nowhere which he claimed caused people to falsely blame people in the back seat for the fact that the crash even occurred or saying they deserved the crash to happen to them??? Do I have that right?? That man was just so confusing I think he was just as confused himself.

Those Hoot Wireless cuts reminded me of watching Ian's edits where you never know what to expect. Mixing up the timing or delivery of it really got me, but it was so worth it every time

The guy in the Bangor Car Care commercial was actually charged for shady practices including selling unsafe vehicles to people with poor credit. I’m not joking, he was dealing in cars that were far from being bangers.

this made my day. i’ve had a pretty rough day, both my parents were in the hospital because my mother got diagnosed with covid among some other things so i’ve been pretty down in the pits all day. decided to watch some cursed commercials as i was eating dinner and it really cheered me up. just wanted to say thanks for the laughs and keep doing what you’re doing

I remember the Westwood College commercial and I live in Massachusetts, the only thing I can think of is Massachusetts is extremely picky when it comes to schools and they probably do not acknowledge Westwood as accredited most likely because it was a for-profit grab cash

I was born in Massachusetts and then moved to Texas when I was 5. It's not that they don't want residents of Texas and Massachusetts, they don't want me and are making damn well sure of it.
I figured it out, its a for profit college and TX and MA banned them

Different states sometimes make laws against certain advertisements like the one for "Video game degree". That's why it wasn't intended for Texas or Massachusetts. Ads like that are illegal in those states.

I've been watching this series ever since it started and I STILL do not know how the commercials are rated. Like, it's supposed to be based off how cursed they are but sometimes, Chad just does it based off how much he likes them or how good they are or how much effort was put in or how confusing it is. I just don't know but I know I'm always in for a good time at the very least
That’s what I’ve been thinking. Sometimes he rates the most cursed commercials a ten and sometimes he rates ones just as cursed a 1 just because he didn’t like them. He has to make up his mind whether his rating is based on cursed-ness or enjoyableness. Still love his videos though lol
