Hi Winifred. If one volunteers in health care, then what will they be living on, how do they pay bills? Or you mean do the voluntary work in their country? Retired nurse, midwife, health visitor, degree in Psychology. Stay blessed.
Hello Winifred I’m a first timer here🎉 I’m a volunteer with an NGO here in Nigeria and I also have some certifications in caregiving and first aid, I would like to know if I’m suitable to apply.
Thank you for the video! My sister has lots of experience working as a PSW in Alberta, she’ll be moving to BC next month. Please can you recommend or refer her. She has been applying to all the psw jobs in BC (Surrey) but no interview or reply yet. We would really appreciate any tip too. Thank you!
@@winifredkalthanks for the nice video… I live in Ontario and I’m trying to signup for the Open Future Learning but it says I must fill in the organization. Please what do I navigate that part
@austinumoru3424 oh! I took it through my organization. You should try taking the courses from another platform or the equivalent. I believe for open future learning, you have to be with an organization that would grant you access to it via their email.
Hello ma, thanks for sharing but ma am a first timer how do I go about it for someone that want to enter Canada am certified Support worker here in my organization Nigeria and i have a professional course done on it also
For Caregiver Course, I believe that’s Care Aide or Health Care Assistant and it depends on your location. You can check Stenberg College or CDI College if you are in BC.
Some through open future learning, Canadian Red Cross website, food safe was at super study Centre physically, CPR/AED: American Heart Association, etc.
BC is my dream province. The process to practice as a nurse there is quite a long one. Please how do i get pnp in the province or get any kind of temporary job while completing the process.
I work as a medical dr in a gulf country and tryimg to relocate ... would it be possible for me to get a caregiver's job ... ??? or anything in healthcare section other than a dr .... Don't have time to prepare for the Medical council's exam and all .... !!!
Hello winifredkal, I have been following you since back from Gambia, I'm currently in Toronto, I'm a trained nurse from the Gambia, studying healthcare administration, I want to apply for psw can you please take me through

@winifredkal please do I need certificates of personal support worker/ or caregiver before I could be able to apply?? and please what is the meaning or “ BC “ and where is that from??? help answer my questions please dear 🙏🏿🥹
BC is British Columbia If you have some experience, you don’t need to have those particular certifications before applying. It just boosts your application but you can get a job without them✨
