    Mike has grown and matured so much, and became wiser....at the 45:00 mark of the video, the guy asked him a question to try and somewhat throw the Atlanta Falcons under the bus or at the very least, say something bad about him -- and Tyreek Hill was egging it on....Vick answered the question beautifully

    Thank you for the interview, very candid. I am 45 now, grew up in Portland Oregon. I think it’s important to note Vick came in when the game was like he said “a little slower.” Football transitioned to the pass happy league we know because of Brady, who was just starting the same time Vick came in the NFL. Now we basically have these Read Options & Pass Happy offenses that MV7 & Brady made defenses “adjust” to.There is almost no base defenses anymore. These hybrid positions and speed/rush packages were derived ALOT from MV7 & Brady.Vicks impact on the NFL game is just as immeasurable as Brady’s impact. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!👍

Vick might have watched Allen Iverson play ball when Iverson was a standout QB at Bethel high in Hampton VA. Vick played high school football close by at Warwick High in Newport News VA later on

    People interviewed on the Podcast I feel would not get in such great detail and honesty with the questions and conversations talked about for just anyone. Thats what really sets apart "It Needed To Be Said" from the rest. With that being said great line up of guest on the show, and always much love for Mike Vick. I never seen someone go threw the fire and snap back with more motivation, more drive and more commitment to putting his NFL career and retirement back on the right tracks. Loved the part were he talked about playing on bad surfaces, playing with just normal shoes or slides...what ever you had on and just played and how the fact that sliding around with low traction helped contribute to his speed, agility, and elusiveness growing up! Something I never really thought about but very true!

The allegations, some of which he admitted to, could have sunk him. The misperception is that you have to be arrogant, cocky, self centered, etc, to be successful. If anything, gloating can be hidden insecurity. If you're truly sexy, you don't even need to say it.

    Mike Vick, you have nothing to apologize for. Nothing. You was a kid. The Falcons should have stood behind you. As a fan, I couldn't beleive they did you like that. They disrespected themselves and you by doing you, as a young man, the way they did. Don't get me wrong you needed to pay for what went down but not in the way you did. The fans were behind you, it was the money men who tucked their tails. We will never know what could have been. I played in high school with Kieth Brooking. I had season tickets and went to every game. It hurt to see you leave Atlanta bro. It just wasn't the same.

      @JCo1301 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@matthewfondren9163💯No doubt! That’s why I got even more respect for the man. He served his time, owned up to what he did, made no excuses. And after serving time, he coulda come out and just fallen off. Maybe let the pressure get to him and not mentally be able to go back to the NFL. He did the exact opposite though. Came out, did and said all the right things, didn’t let all the haters get to him, and went right back to an elite status QB. I got all the respect in the world for that man.
      And he a hometown boy from my area here in Virginia too- grew up only about 30 minutes away from me. So that’s pretty dope too. I just wish his lil bro woulda had Mike’s same mindset and level of professionalism. Dude was talented as well- maybe not elite status like Mike, but he still coulda made it in the NFL if he had just kept himself outta trouble. Damn shame that he threw it all away. Always hate seein talented players that blow their opportunity, after working they whole life to make it to the NFL.

      @JCo1301 ปีที่แล้ว

      @SEXYSEXY-wz1bs MIKE Vick left a mark and continues to build on his legacy. What did Marcus ever do? Pulled a trash move at VT. Made it to the NFL for like the blink of an eye, solely off his brothers name, and then was gone before he did anything at all. Then went back home and continued to get in criminal trouble, over, and over, and over again. And is still getting into criminal trouble to this day. If he didn’t have his brothers money for a good lawyer, he’d be in prison right now. I mean, I guess you can call that “leaving a legacy,” lol. A life of crime. And you call that “being great”?! 😂😂
      I got all the love in the world for Mike. Ton of respect for him. His brother threw it all away though. He was never “great”, as you call him. Never has been. Never will be. He was average in college. Couldn’t do a thing in the NFL. Then turned to a life of crime. And he’s “great” in your eyes? Weird person to idolize. 😬 And you say I’m focusing on the negative? If that was true, I could say things about Mike. But I didn’t. And I won’t. Man redeemed himself and was a legend on the field. And still doing great things. Marcus? He’s literally done nothing. Ever. If he wasn’t Mike’s brother, you wouldn’t even know who he was. Lol. So I’m not “focusing on the negative.” Im just telling the truth. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
      And what are you talking about, shooting classmates, wives and children? Lol. What point are you trying to even make? Bc that comment makes zero sense.

      Literally, right off his Wikipedia page. So no, I’m not saying anything biased or negative. I’m just stating facts. Here’s his Wikipedia page:
      Marcus Deon Vick (born March 20, 1984) is a former American football quarterback. He played college football at Virginia Tech, following the career path of his older brother Michael. However, several legal infractions and unsportsmanlike play led to Vick being dismissed from the school in 2006. Vick joined the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL) the same year as an undrafted free agent, but was released after appearing in only one game. Since the end of his playing career, he has continued to face various legal troubles.
      Where in there was he EVER great?! NOWHERE!
