Similar, the US was decimated with close to 20 B52 knocked out when they attacked North Vietnam due to Soviet missiles. When the opponent has effective air defence, even super powers failed.
Agree with everything apart from the idea that China would like to start trouble with India. What benefit would this be? At the moment, their relations are improving, and from my personal experience, the Chinese that I talked to hold India in high regard.

Major Bakshi, You are exposing your ignorance about the difference between a Rocket and a missile. A rocket is a non-guided weapon. A missile can be guided to a target after it has been fired. An RPG or an old Bazooka are good examples of rockets as is the Soviet BM-21. All of these are aimed in the direction they want to go in and there is no follow-up to what they do.V2 rockets were first launched against England in September 1944. Over the next few months, nearly 1,400 struck London. They were less accurate than V1 missiles, but since they travelled at the speed of sound, and so made no warning noise before impact, it was almost impossible to defend against them. However, Germany could not defeat the British because the British RAF performed better than the German Air Force. Late in World War II, Germany launched almost 3,000 V-2s against England, France, and Belgium. After the war, the U.S. and Soviet Union used captured V-2s to develop their own large rockets, the ancestors of today's launch vehicles.
