I can't believe the PSOE are apposed to the new law. All the houses in my street have Ocupas, they don't work, they see working as embarrassing. Though they drive fancy cars and have 17 children, Get home from wherever at 3 or 4 in the morning, blaring music until 9 am.. Poisoned my previous neighbours dog, knocking on the door all day asking for smokes, throwing glass bottles and rubbish onto my property daily, puncture tires of anyone that dares park in the street, deface bank reposessed bank properties.. But deny it every time though there's nobody else in the street. Been 18 years like this, but can't move as my property is now worthless with these 'neighbours'.
This is the biggest turn off for investing in socialist Spain. Otherwise if this mess was dealt with, Spain would be swarmed with investors. That’s also why Sancho is cancelling the golden visa

Okupas situation in Spain is a BLOODY SHAME.
Ana thats great news. I know someone who had squatters and it took forever to evict them. They eventually evicted them but lost confidence in the legal system and moved back to England. BTW your English is fantastic and we love your channel. Thanks!

I have noticed things also how Spain deals with homeless encampments that we have in Canada and the US.
I come from South Africa, there they squat on land and build a house, but would never be allowed to squat in someone elses house.

In the UK they are called squatters! They made it illegal to do it on domestic properties!

It’s a pointless and harmful law… 🤷🏻♀️
They now go and order fastfood to the adresse they intend to occupy for 2 or 3 weeks in a row, then when they occupy they show the fast food receipts and say they've been living there for weeks.. very clever.

Yes, it’s been going on for a long time already, but it’s not as noisy as it used to be 👍🏼
I stayed Don Pancho January. Building work was going on but no bother at all. Love Don Pancho😊have a great holiday.
i heard that after brexit the local people were finding it hard to afford rental properties so they moved into other peoples properties because they must of heard that 90 day rule and possibly a ban on uk visiters so they took over there homes
