We had CCCs at DSNY. In the late 90s
They went to all MACK LE series..
They were not Low Entry by anymeans.. miss those CCCs..

Yeah the San Diego guys are lucky to have them. Very nice cabs. All the drivers I talk to love them. Plus they haven’t changed that much since you drove them 30 years ago. Do you remember the old side loaders they had in those days?

@@trashmonster26 I remember the side loaders when I was a kid. Later on working in a landfill those trucks were a nightmare they got stuck all the time. If I remember correctly they were 20yd single rear axle trucks. I heard from old timers
They sucked to work with especially
Bulk items. Those trucks were long
Gone by the time I got hired as a
"SanMan"... like I said earlier post
I caught the tail end of the CCCs-
MACK LE came along with their
Horrible MACK split body trucks
For recycling also. Terrible suspension It was like riding on stone wheels....

What's really funny Is how 122 Did trash in point Loma in 2017 Then in 2020 it did recycle Now 132 does recycle And 132 used to be my old green waste truck Until they switched It to 127, I also got footage of this Truck the last month
