      MuZach not to mention the description of the symptoms were terrible. Especially, constipation and eczema.
      Btw, somebody here said that it was a skit. If it were then how come Ken Jeong didn't know which way to face at the start of the test??? Ken's face said it all... If I were him, I would channel Mr. Chow out. "Beotch! You don't believe I'm a doctor??? You try to make fool of me by throwing a pop quiz? Bring it you fake beotch doctor!!!"

    • @valleyoftheheart
      @valleyoftheheart 6 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      Sem David Timothy Sitanggang Yes, Dr Jeong is a GP, but because of that he deals with a wide variety of illnesses affecting every part of the body. Dr Oz has specialized in heart surgery and therefore only deals with heart issues, making Dr Jeong the more knowledgeable doctor overall in terms of diseases and bodily functions.

    • @108mtsan
      @108mtsan 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I’m pretty sure the specialist knows everything the general practitioner knows. A specialist has to undergo all the generals that a general practitioner goes through before specializing.

    • @vinnygpremed1101
      @vinnygpremed1101 5 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      @@108mtsan a specialist goes through a specialist track of training. A heart surgeon gets a residency in surgery, then a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery, and then gets liscensed. A general practitioner goes trough a specialized training for general practice, where they do 3 years of family med/internal. Also, GPs practice general med much more than a specialist, so they would know more over time. Specialists know a lot about a certain area, thats why they are called specialists and thats also why there not your primary care docs. A heart surgeon can't do a full physical on you like a GP would. All they know is the heart, not the head, skin, and etc. GPs know a lot about a broad range of things, but when it comes to the specifics thats where they lack and need a specialist. None of them know "everything" that the other knows and you cant really say which one is better. They're both needed and play vital roles.

    You know Ken Jeong was expecting really hard medical questions. Not easy ones. He laughed because he realized only amateurs put that game together.

    To me it seemed like Ken was expecting more unusual conditions. He is sort of going "really, halitosis, that's made up by marketing teams to sell mouth wash".
    Quite frankly this is just insulting, and I for one would consult the medical opinion of Ken long before I'd consult "Dr." Oz.

  • @janearkensaw4386

    I feel like he had a little trouble answering because he's a proper doctor and didn't expect bullshit stuff a ten year old can answer. You could tell he was like "are you fucking kidding me". Disrespectful, "Dr" Oz.

    Protip: Whooping cough is not a "doctory" term, it more describes the symptoms (Inspiratory "whooping" after coughs). The actual medical disease is pertussis, named after the bacteria that causes the infection, Bordatella pertussis, which itself means "thorough cough."

    i can tell the age of DoctorOz and Ken Jeong.
    how?
    look at the haircuts, they are probably around 50 in age.
    why? when they come from the same era, they tend to stick with the general haircut they had.

    The "most medically professional jargon" for whooping cough is...pertussis. Sigh...I can think of a few clinical supervisors who would have mouthed off at me if I had answered the former and didn't follow-up/correct myself with the "more medical" term...

    • @rougn
      @rougn 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you listened you would hear him say whooping cough and then immediately start saying pertussis when the bell was going off. I can promise you doctors use the common word more often because if you told a random person they have Pertussis they will think its some form of cancer...
