So she retreated back behind her walls at the very thought of someone getting too close! Also an obvious ploy to throw a monkey wrench in the works by the writers, because they have more dramatic plans ahead. But, still it was painful to watch. And yet, Vanessa sat back and quietly sussed out the game Charity was playing. Smart woman!! Charity's the one with the insecurity issues and for very good reason. Way to go Vanessa for seeing her actions for what they were.
