All Robby did was teach Cobra Kai simple defense to Cobra Kai, everything Daniel taught Robby, he taught them, all Cobra Kai has is offensive, Miyagi Fang was both defense and offense, but for Cobra Kai to each stand a chance, they need to learn Miyagi Do, so they stand a better chance to try to defeat Miyagi Fang
The fighting doesn't get old because you care for the characters. You don't know who to root for, because you relate in some way to all the characters. You want each character to win, but you know they can't all win. Be that as it may, the fighting is pretty good by the actors. You can tell they use stunt doubles at certain times, but quite a bit is the actual actors performing the fight scenes.
There have been many "F" bombs: 1. Nate said, "They kicked the ****ing sh*t out of me! 2. Johnny told the waiter to "Shut the **** up!" when he and Daniel were drinking at the bar. 3. There are many f bombs in season 5. 4. The guy who runs the minimart called Johnny a "****ing idiot" when he bought a slice of pizza in season 1. 5. Johnny says "****" when he first sees Daniel at the car dealership in the first episode. 6. Robby says, "No, it's my ****ing dad" when his friend asks him if he is going to join karate after seeing him with Johnny's advertisement. 7. Hawk calls Demetri a "****ing nerd" when Moon says that Demetri is his friend.
Nothing wrong with what Robby did in teaching Cobra Kai the Miyagi Do defenses. That is what Johnny and Daniel should have done: use all techniques instead of just blindly adhering to only one method. Robby's motivation, however, to win in order to show up and get revenge on his father and Daniel, was wrong.
And it’s not like he gave away any ancient Miyagi secrets, he literally taught them simple defense. Everything Robby learned from Daniel was basic Miyagi Do
It wasn't out of bounds because Tori hit Devin in the face. It's out of bounds because they were out of bounds. There are lines on the mat for a reason.
8:17 "Locust Valley" is a callback from the OG "Karate Kid". 9:03 Johnny said, "Come on, ref, she was out of bounds! Use your eyes!" Because Devon stepped out of bounds THEN Tory kicked her in the face. It may have been a legitimate point IF Devon hadn't stepped out of bounds. 14:17 SHUT UP SHANE! Miguel’s injury resurfaced due to his mental conflict of the past few episodes. His emotions reaching a certain point is how he learned to walk again. Having fun taught him how to move his feet and intense anger taught him how to stand again. He then trained to be able to move normally from there. He couldn’t do kicks for a while as shown when he fell over trying to kick the frisbee in the park. He got his kicks and flips back in the season finale against Kyler when he reached a certain mental point (seeing Hawk come back to his senses and fight with Demetri and hearing the words Johnny spoke to him while he was in the hospital. Issue now is that Miguel is having issues not knowing who he is since he doesn’t know his father. He looked to Johnny as his father figure but Robby told him that Johnny sees Miguel as his replacement and in that same episode a drunken Johnny said he loved Robby and not Miguel after Miguel thought he was talking about him.
@@jgsrhythm100 Yeah, he said he wants to make a few good films and then retire. I guess he doesn't want to keep making films and they are not good at the end of his career, even though he is still relatively young.
I just wanted to come to Daniels defence. When Daniel said you didn't win the right way to sam you made the comment that Daniel used an offensive move when he hit johnny in the face during there tournament & your right of course but Daniel had nothing left. He was already hurt from his leg & then then johnny did that terrible move with his elbow to the back of Daniels leg im sure you remember so basically after that Daniel could no longer fight he was done for therefore the crane kick is all he could do to have any chance of securing that final point. Just thought i would remind you of that also i admit ive had Daniel's back throughout the cobra kai series because i too was bullied i mean for real so always going to take Daniel's side no matter what saying that i see Sam's point about wanting to do her own style. Thankyou
I personally didn't like how they did this tournament. It was way too much and which tournament is set in a low light smoke filled hall? I know it's just a show and it hasn't been realistic before. But this was just over the top, all of it. Still a great show though! And the Carrie Underwood stuff was just so off.. The whole thing went into Disney mode basically.
There is a lot of 1980s cheesiness to the show, but I think it all works. Season 1 was a bit more grounded, but then things go over the top after that, which I believe fits in with the retro/nostalgia of the 1980s. Just fun entertainment.
@@Xanderandkwonfan101 You didn't read my comment? I said exactly that already. Also, I've been watching this show since the beginning, before Netflix even had it. I bought the first season on TH-cam Red and I absolutely love it. But MY opinion is that something with this tournament episode was OFF.
I admit to not caring for Carrie Underwood at all.. But I appreciate she wanted to do the show as a fan.. And that the song she sings is a cover of "Moment of Truth" which was an end credits song in the original film.

Shane you gotta let your son say hell 😂😂
THIS EPISODE ROCKS
🤣
Well, Silver did not really lure Stingray to the dojo. Stingray showed up unannounced. That is when Silver saw his chance to use him in his scheme.
in a deleted scene, Stingray asked Tori and Robby if they can talk to kreese to let him back in Cobra Kai. They told him to talk to Silver instead.
@@redipsthat’s still not silver luring stingray to cobra Kai 😂

In a way, Robby training Cobra Kai in Miyagi-Do just shows how smart and versatile he is. He was way ahead of even Daniel and Johnny.

Tbh, i THOUGHT they jouned to do excalty that, teach each other and combine styles but nooo, Robby just was smarter

Ayy let’s go been waiting for this episode reaction🔥🔥🙌💯 Such a good episode, hyped for the reaction to the finale🙌🙌
Cobra Kai 🔥🐍👊 Oh boy this episode
Kyler vs Hawk, Flawless Victory.
Loved Sam telling Daniel "maybe my right way is difference than yours". Kids need to find their own way of navigating life.
Maybe this episode is in the TOP 5 of all Cobra Kai.

Sting Ray( actor Paul Walter Hauser) won a Golden Globe for his role in the true crime series "Blackbird" (Apple TV) . Worth a resction !!
Rumor has it that he is targeted to play the lead in Quentin Tarantino's final movie.
