This video was shot in Madden 23 HOWEVER this video is still applicable for Madden 24 Franchise Mode! an update video as I find NEW TIPS will be released in the upcoming weeks
The key to managing cap is drafting well. Also knowing which positions are easy to replace. MLB is something I never resign no matter how “generational” they are because I can get the same production someone on a rookie contract. Only positions that matter are qb, wr, edge, cbs. Everything else is replaceable after the first contract. If I happen to get superstar olinemen then I resign them also otherwise only those positions mentioned above matter. If ur simming everything then it gets a lil tricky but it essentially remains the same. Also their motivations are very important when negotiating. My home grown 99 wr wanted a 140m contract but because his motivations are maxed I cut that down by half. Instead of earning 19.7m in salary and 15.2m in bonuses I got him down to 16.9 and 12.9. The players u have with maxed out motivations try to get them as low as possible.
Do you have any videos of what grades you're looking for in players for the draft? I think im pretty decent at it now, but i was just curious if you had a video about it.
I have a video where i fully go over drafting and my drafting meta th-cam.com/video/jfa_0sKoejs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=BZ9Uu6a7MgxjWP_I (works on madden 24 not sure of madden 25 yet havent dived into franchise yet) But i also have a lot of franchise tips and tricks in this playlist (th-cam.com/play/PLX43jyzU6ehYojkHDjPwxFK5oh0eAWlNF.html&si=wXVCXdkKBeiun6TC)
Im going to use cardinals in my first frabchise on M24. They have good draft picks and solid cap space after the first season. Ive not played madden since 04 so this video helped! Thank you
i'm glad the video helped man! I do a lot of franchise stuff and actually converting the channel to sports games only especially sports games franchise mode so the content in Madden 24 is going to be FIRE BUT i also have a playlist of some madden franchise videos that might help you also. theres about 17 videos in the playlist and if you have any questions just let me know man! th-cam.com/video/nzx7E-f4gD8/w-d-xo.html&pp=gAQBiAQB
So im on franchise with a Buddy. He has a 70ovr Derek Carr he wants to get rid of. There's no way to trade him & get some other team to pay for his absurd contract?
He could hear grey rid of him and take the cap hit it seems big but overall as long as you manage contracts, spread them out (in that manage funds video i talk about best ways to structure contracts) you should be good i always trade away Shaq leonard who had a big penalty (before the eagles pickup) and 2 of my oline who were like 20M cap hit each and i was always fine and never had cap issues fr

One thing that can help your cause is that if you take out the players bonus and add that bonus money to the players regular salary, that'll take out the penalty altogether. Problem solved
Never tried this before however I know sometimes if players don't have bonuses they wont accept the deal unfortunately, and you also don't wanna overpay by having to compensate by giving them a bigger salary! However thanks for the info I may try it on one of my dudes one day and others can see this comment and try it aswell
Bro i need some help with my madden i actually won the super bowl for 23 and now i have no cap room and cant figure out how to get cap room. Can i like friend you on ps4 or something
