So...pretty much everything you've said is accurate regarding human perception/conception. BUT..the thing about dependent co arising specifically is that yes it's about how we percieve and conceptualize the world around us, but it really just pertains to the suffering experienced in real time by human beings. The unbroken chain of dependent co arising is a more intricate way to explain the second noble truth.. the (karmically) reactive nature of the "self" and how it becomes the egoistic sense of "I". The third noble truth is the breaking of the chain of dependent co arising link by link thus breaking the cycle of suffering and the repeated cycle of existence in samsara, which is really just the ego's fabrication of what it thinks inherent reality is, and after realization the apparent actuality is that nothing is inherent. It all starts with the development of ignorance down the path of suffering, or with right view which is the development of wisdom which stops everything else from occurring, it stops the becoming of the egoistic identification, and the suffering that follows. From what I've understood, that's the essence of the teaching, basically the middle section (2-3) of the 4 noble truths.
FORM - the cup and the sense media (eye, ear, nose, etc). SENSING - the sense media FEELING - result feeling resulting from contact with cup (painful, not painful, neutral). PERCEPTION - identification of objects (cup) giving rise to states of mind (emotional content) as a result of contact with objects. VOLITIONS - voluntary thoughts that arise a a result of contact. CONSCIOUSNESS - arises from a fabricated self identity as a result of desire as a result of contact.
Like how it says in the first sentence of the Bible -In the beginning was the word. Juduasm_ a child of God Christianity- a teenager of God (There is no life in the living tree without the blood of Jesus) Muslim - a adult of God Buddha- a old man elder of God Okay now we have solved rhe Mystery of God and we understand why the holy books are arranged as they are _ the first is last. You need the understanding and knowledge of God in-order to perceive God. Wow - I love solving arguments with God. We need each other - if one dies the other dies.
Hi Tanya - Thanks for comment - I'll be posting some soon (I am currently moving home). Do you have any topics that you'd like me to discuss? Best wishes ♥
@@buddhistsympathizer1136 Thank you for your prompt response, good luck with the move. Further pointers and discussions to establish that the world is an illusion and does not have independent existence. It is still pretty intellectual for me. Thank you so much.
Wow I've always been fascinated with Helen Keller.
All of these videos have been extremely helpful and clear. Truly direct pointers
