@@TheNoviceVillage You're free to do so, but to me TLJ cared more about "subverting expectation" than telling a story, burning plot threads and almost mocking the audience for pondering the questions TFA posed.
"Haha, made you look!" doesn't compel me to do much but avoid movies made by the same people going forward, especially when they capitalize on the reminiscence of their fans while seeking with a will to destroy the intricate tapestry created by those who came before.
The characters felt hollow, mouthpieces that attempt to substitute ideology for imagination.

Rey has the Jedi texts. She stole them before she left Ahch-To. You see them at the very end of the film when Finn finds a blanket for Rose, stuffed in a drawer. This is why Master Yoda says after destroying the Jedi Library ' Wisdom they held, but that library contained nothing that the girl Rey does not already possess.'

I edge into the non-verbal portions of the spectrum at times and struggle putting words to why I loved TFA and The Last Jedi to people. It became a guilty pleasure because I couldn't express why Finn and Poe and especially Rey meant so much and why everything made sense. And then I found your channel. Every Star Wars episode has moved me to tears because you have put emotions I couldn't quantify into words, into powerful videos. And this is no exception. Thank you. I guess we're talking about something else now." And I get it with this particular clip, he says its "lots of thoughts about star wars" so I can understand somewhat it being disjointed, it's in the title. But many of his other videos are far more concise and focused on certain issues related to the topic at hand. His video on the movie Jarhead comes to mind as being very on point about the different issues, more complete thoughts.
I just, I dunno, I like what he has to say, when he actually takes time to come to a complete thought on what he's saying. Rambling from topic to topic, in a half-complete way, just leaves me feeling unsatisfied.

Near then or the video: Yoda didn't destroy the Jedi texts. Rey took them before she and Chewie left. Yoda - knowingly - burned a hollow tree. It was in his line, "Already has she what she needs." Also, we saw the books in the Falcon after Rey rescued the surviving Resistance members.

Luke didn't know though. I think it's important that Yoda wanted Luke to think that the texts were unimportant to the Jedi. Luke needed to be 'released' from his self isolation. I think the intrapersonal moment between master and apprentice is more important than the literal existence of the texts.

I was so dreading the new Star Wars movie. Not because I hated either of the first two - I thought they were pretty badass - but because Star Wars used to be this safe thing you could talk about with anyone and now you have to approach the subject with the same trepidation you might have bringing up any number of political third rails. And I just didn't feel up to wading in. But damn, dude, this was the new hope I needed.
