The so called 4 division in Sunni is not division. These are highly scholars who interpreted the Hadith of prophet Mohammed peace and blessings of Allah be upon them all, according to their knowledge. They are all united under one faith الصراط المستقيم worshiping Allah the way He should be worshipped and following prophet and his companion’s way. May Allah be blessed with them all.
It isn’t misinformation. You just said you were in a sect. You are Sunni and there are others who are Shia. Because you’re Sunni you’re in a different group.
