    What I have come to appreciate and respect about you Brett is that you are information based and I personally have learned to shop smarter and eat better because of you. So HUGE MASSIVE THANK YOU!! Plus the workout are very good.

    • @brettcap
      @brettcap  9 ปีที่แล้ว +26

      +Janice M i really appreciate that! and you can't forget- we've never met, I don't know you personally - but ur energy forced something in you to watch one of my videos right? You made that choice and u stuck with it. (thats the hardest part of the game for a lot of people in regards to fitness & health) and you did it for yourself bc you saw an opportunity to better yourself. I could never take the credit for that! Just happy to be a part of the influence!

    brett! im vegan and its not hard to find protein! protein is in everything, whether theres a lot or a little. there is no such thing as anyone being protein deficient unless they don't eat. lentils, beans, greens, etc all have protein. even fruit. love u!

    • @thelamo7636
      @thelamo7636 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't think fruit has protein mate

    • @linnyfaith2301
      @linnyfaith2301 9 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      TheLamo coconut has 13 grams of protein, apricots 3.4g, guava 2.6g. yes, its not a high amount, but when you eat in abundance it adds up and yes all fruit does have protein even if its .2 grams :)

      Almonds, walnuts, or pumpkin seeds. Also, pinto, lima, and black beans are a great source of protein, as are many beans. I believe white beans are highest in protein.

    This is a good video because lots of people tend to get scared of the word "fat", it has lots of bad connotations but there are good fats that are great for your skin and hormones. It's great that you're getting the word out there. Not all fats are bad and you shouldn't be scared of certain fats.

    Brett!!! Thank you so much for this video! Honestly at first I was watching your videos because I wanted my body to look like carli's but more than that I watch your videos back to back become I feel like a trainer is talking to me and giving me insight to make better choices for my health. Thank you so much honestly for all the videos you post, I always eagerly await your videos even if I have to wait 4 weeks to watch the next one 😃 you're awesome man!

    Thank youuuu, thank you for your comment on being aware of what happens to the animals before they get to your plate! As a vegetarian I never force any information on people that don't wanna hear it, I don't tell them what they should and shouldn't eat, (and usually I just say I'm a vegetarian because I don't like meat) but if someone does want to know I will always say that if you're going to consume something you should know EXACTLY what you're consuming! It's all about educating yourself and that's why I love your videos because you don't just say "if you want a hot body eat these foods", you actually give us information and it's so helpful! Thank you :)

    I love how you implement science and research into your videos. It's so much easier to follow advice from someone who clearly takes time to make sure what they're sharing with people is actually backed by data.

    • @brettcap
      @brettcap  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Leticia Campos and that's probably the hardest thing for me when shooting these types of "informative" videos. I'm a perfectionist at heart (atleast i try to be lmao) so when I record this, i OVERFLOW it with info b/c I like to cover all corners this way I don't miss out on any info I really want to share with you guys. But, the con (and there's always a con lol) is that it renders a very TEDIOUS editing process, which isn't a bad thing, but just takes me longer to upload! The unedited version of this video was an hour and change! lol - so compressing that all into, what's usually a 4-8 minute video, is always a challenge! And i also know people aren't going to agree with everything I say. That's the world we live in when you put yourself out there for whatever reason. But when i read comments like these it really makes it all worthwhile :) thank you for the feedback ! it's GREATLY appreciated. Bless.

    Thanks Brett, this was really helpful. I am very conscious about what foods I eat and it can sometimes be very hard to resist the prices of cheaper foods, but I agree 100% that quality is more important and we won't have regrets by eating healthier!

      +Cecilia Vasquez yes i completely understand! i used to always rely on that type of stuff. It's not easy to keep up with healthy food financially and big business knows that. Great video! 😊 Because of you and a few others I have changed my diet to 90% organic. Before, I couldn't justify the price of organic but then you talked about how we should spend extra on real organic foods than not and then spend a lot of money on health issues. I took this seriously and have slowly made the change 😊 I plan to soon be eating 100% organic! Thank you so much! I have lost 15lbs and I know it's from eating quality foods 😊 THANK YOU AGAIN!

    I watch most of your videos and appreciate how educated you are about a healthy lifestyle. With that being said , I think I'm not the only woman that feels like we struggle more losing weight than a man does.I have struggled so much after having my son and no matter how clean I eat or doing 1hr to 2hr exercise a day 5 to 6 days a week, I seem to be stuck. I do focus on measurements vs. scale . I have changed up my workouts a few times but no change and that can be very discouraging. Am I correct? Do you have any tips specifically for women?

    Brett can you talk about vitamins, please? What vitamins and supplements do you and Carli take daily? What should I look for in a GOOD protein shake? Thanks for your time.

    Love your videos. Would be awesome if you can do more at the gym workouts for beginners. Or on what are the best work outs for loosing weight at the gym/toning your legs arms for beginners.. Thank you 🙂

    I agree with you. I don't eat meat with every meal, but when I do I make sure that the animal was treated well when it was alive.
