- From The Walking Dead, Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori Grimes), Chandler Riggs (Carl Grimes), and Cailey Fleming (Judith Grimes) gave a panel at Fandemic Dead 2022 to talk about their parts on the show, their relationships with one another, and to answer fan questions.
Sarah Wayne Callies was Lori Grimes on The Walking Dead until her end in Season 3. She is also known for Prison Break, Colony, Council of Dads, Letterkenny, and Unspeakable.
Chandler Riggs portrayed Carl Grimes on The Walking Dead for 109 episodes. He is also known for his roles in Inherit the Viper, A Million Little Things, and Only.
Cailey Fleming plays Judith Grimes on The Walking Dead. She is also known for her roles in Loki, Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens, Star Wars IX: The Rise of Skywalker, Creepshow, and Better Things.

The best Grimes family is Michonne, Rick, Carl, and Judith.
It's crazy how Chandler doesn't seem even the least bit angry or salty about carl being killed so early, all his answers are so mature for someone who got snubbed so horribly.
Why he would be angry, salty or so ?
He loved beeing on the Show and it was 8 good and fun seasons.
i am nearly certain the writers or messed up or had a meeting and ask themselves "does chandler has what it takes as an actor?" and the answer was no he can't be a leading actor

seeing Sarah and Cailey sitting beside each other has really made me appreciate how well they casted Judith like Cailey looks like the perfect mix of Shane and Lori

I love that Judith looks so much like Lori (excellent casting with Cailey) but Judith personality-wise is so much like Michonne, she is truly Michonne’s mini-me.
It’s cute seeing chandler help Cailey, because for so many years we saw other older actors do that for him and help him get through press and panels.

He seemed so much more mature than she does though. I think they picked the perfect actor to play Carl cuz he had to grow up quick.

I was so friggin hyped about Lori and Judith's actors meeting I didn't even realize Cailey didn't know Chandler either before the hat thing came up
This actually wasn’t the first time they met. They met three years ago when they attended a ladies panel of the walking dead when she was 11 years old (or 12).
You can tell that Chandler is in awe of Cailey being on the show. Definitely her starting the show as young as he did, he must understand what it's like.
Chandler really had to do the heavy lifting here Haha. With a kid who is understandably shy and not super confident in answering questions and a person who doesn't watch the show or read the comic 😂

The first 2 seasons, darabont is still to this day UNPAID. Thats why Sara got fired, she stood up for Frank. They shat on Chandler too
The biggest mistake the show made was killing Carl off. Absolute mistake!

It's such a crime what they did to Chandler Riggs. He literally moved out to Atlanta for the show, clearly loved the show, the comics, the characters, the people... and they kill him off with an off screen bite.
I believe they even told him he was the future of the show.
I stopped watching when his character died.

I think Dale would've try to talk things out with Negan, but then again, it's less likely to work out. Alpha on the other hand, he would most likely be killed off from the whisperers.
Dale would have tried stopping the war between all of them, and try and think about it way more logically than they had originally. Things probably could’ve went better with dale around

i cried so hard when Carl had to take his own life because of what would happen after death. I think I mourned for a month.
It was literally traumatic for me!!! :'( I could barely continue watching TWD after that

Agreed, but I don't think the folks representing Chandler get their share of the blame. They attempted to play hardball with the show runners during negotiations and ultimately cost the kid his job.

Sarah, I had all my babies without any pain meds, nor anesthesia, It was painful, but if I had to do it all over again, I would. It is the experience of one's lifetime. However, I am sixty-three years old now, looking back I had to be insane. Because of the new medications available. things are far better. Thank you for sharing. I loved your character.

U don’t think Shane did step it up .Shane would did more for his baby not to forget he went a lil crazy when he know that Lori was pregnant he just couldn’t stand a chance to leave the walkers at the barn he did it for his baby and Lori to make sure to keep them a live. As goes on Shane did all he could to make sure he keeps his baby and Lori save at any cost he even saw Rick as a threat he want to execute Rick cuz he saw Rick wasn’t making the hard choices to keep his baby and lori save .as for Rick when judith was born he couldn’t look at her for days as I remember he was going crazy of lori death he saw that judth killed her .Rick just had accept it and raise her like he said .but Shane did he pushed Rick at the end of season 2 in order for Rick to step up .so Shane cleary did more .he would even did more if he was a live .

I was there!! It was so fun to see them together, just wish that Andy was there too!! Loved what Sarah had to say at 6:35, it’s so true and it’s so sad that people treated her like that in real life over a show! It is kinda weird she’s never seen the show to be able to answer some of the “grimes” questions but to each their own. Loving her currently on the show “The Company you keep”

The whole Rick, Lori and Shane love triangle is one of my favourite storylines in the show, so much tragedy there and it made Rick's character stronger.
Loved seeing the family almost together minus Andy/Rick & Jon/Shane lol. Yall need to leave Sarah alone about messy ass Lori's problems, but she lowkey didn't answer the question tho cause they both tried to step up to be the father. Also the show already answered the father question thru rick talking to michonne in s7 when looking for the guns for negan. if anything theyll do an actual paternity test in the movies if its that deep but i doubt it.
