I sold my Greedo Blue box on ebay just before Christmas and I was pretty nervous. It went very well. I got out of Pops for rooms sack and I am creating a Pod Cast. I would Sell on ebay again, but just be careful, what the bidders feedback etc.
@@JRPGLife Welcome. A couple other things to consider. Record boxing and set up a private video on TH-cam, also use a tape that is not easy to open and reseal, like ebay or USPS labeled tape.

Some decent ones you kept for sure, never knew they had Gargoyles ones. That is absolutley insane on the Value of that one Funko, just WOW. No need to apologize for keeping those funkos, when I see one I want I got to have it - most recently it was the 3 Slipknot ones, Winged Venom, Dinopool & Tokka/Rahzar (from TMNT 2). Awwww, the backlog, always the gamer problem lol. I truly feel you on that one. I feel if it worth the money from a resale perspective, and you can potentialy keep some for personal collection, go for it. I just pick up what ones I like, and don't deal with the resell side of things. Great video, congrats on the pick ups, have to admit those Sailor Moon ones look really nice - watched that show so much growing up. #Roadto3k

Cool pops, I myself collect the Batman pops but only original Batman characters. I don’t collect like the solid colored pop or art pop variants of a character. Great video 👍
I would sell the pop online. Take great pics of all sides. When it sells package we'll and insure it. I've had great experience selling more expensive items online. I don't collect pops because I got 2 big collection going with anime and video games. Also lot of pops outside of video game and anime characters look the same

I would always travel for work and visit all the retro game shops and frequent Japan once or twice a month. Really miss it so it was nice to experience all your vids recently. I like pops and all but they're just basically action figures. They remain unused in the box or they lose value. Rather collect more media, games, toys for my daughter and I to enjoy. The ones we have were gifts so they get displayed with the other stuff. Definitely gonna look out for profitable ones in the future though that's crazy

In regards to what I think you should do with that very expensive pop, sit on it, find the right collector in person and sell it. Dang, we have hundreds of funkos to sell at our garage sale. Looks like they still move. We also have about 15 huge boxes of star trek items to sell as well. I don't think they will move as well.

I think I'd still sell mine for the individual value their worth when I have my yard sale soon. I have a lot of anime & a few extra chases so thats why lol
Id personally put on Facebook Marketplace *For Trade Only* and you'll get a funnko pop collector who will most likely trade you some solid video games for it. Good luck!

I've sold a very expensive baseball card on ebay be very careful who you sell to has people can be horrible . I recommend trying groups or something first . I never sell pops has there annoying to ship . You did right selling local . If you do sell it on ebay etc take pics so you know its condition before sending out
In the description of the listing state things like they must have 100% feedback and an established account. The item is insured and signature confirmation. Ive done that and had to cancel some sales because they seemed shady.
We have a few that we keep on display, but this lot was immediately traded in for cash at a local store, and we traded the expensive one for a valuable video game. This all happened a few years back, but we made some videos on it 😀

It's definitely the minority, but it does happen. Most scams happen when a buyer buys something and issues a return for something else. It's happened to us a few times.
Oh man, we had absolutely no idea of their value when we bought these. Did you see the montage of us going through them one by one and trying to figure out values? That was real 🙂

So you make a video showing you know the rough value of these things and still choosing to rip them off come on man.if you're making that much profit and these people obviously need money do the right thing.
If you watch the video again, you will see that we had no idea what everything was worth until he spent hours afterward pricing everything out. At the time of sale, both the buyer and seller were happy with the deal. Everything is great 😊

what do you do with funko pops. Do you play with them or put them on display or not even open the box and waiting to resell them.

I know I'm late, but some pops aren't worth anything, so basically the owner sold you pops that can't be sold.

Too many scammers on ebay and they side with the buyers more often than not. I’d try to sell or trade locally if you can
