Based on Carly’s songs, I was convinced he cheated on her, having been there myself and admittedly biased towards her point of view. But him releasing this song is an interesting twist. I was NOT expecting this take, and now I don’t know what to think. Looks like there was more than enough blame to go around. That said, this whole thing makes me glad my breakup wasn’t in the public eye. I didn’t always behave well, and it would be a nightmare to have the whole world know about it. 😳
