I have yet to pass out completely yet but I’ve been really in and out a few times! A cold compress type thing on the back of your neck (head tilted back) and slow breathing until you can take some drinks from like apple juice or Gatorade, then a snack like granola/trail mix is what seriously helps me so much. 🙏🏻

From someone who struggles with the same thing here are a couple tips that work for me :) bring just a little snack with you to eat afterwards, lay down for as long as you need don’t feel rushed to get up, raise your feet if you do feel close to passing out!
Another tip is to put an alcohol wipe by your nose while getting your blood drawn and have either an ice pack or a wet towel behind your neck. I went to the doctor and had to get my blood drawn and I always faint, but that alcohol wipe helped so much. You can most likely ask for one at the doctors. They should have it.

I am so sorry you have to go through this. My parents have struggled for 10 years with it. We have been trying to adopt for over 5 years and had gotten call for a safe delivery but then at the last minute the mom came back. So after 2 months of taking care of that baby we just had to give her back their was nothing we could do. So for over 10 years my mom has suffered 7 miscarriages. I we had so many emotions after having to give my sister back. But we continued to trust God and his plan. And after 14 long years of being an only child and my parents suffering from miscarriage after miscarriage my mom found out she was pregnant at the beginning of this year and the baby is healthy. I pray for you everyday. When ever you are sad or get bad news I want you to listen to the song In Jesus Name by Katy Nichole and I just want to say I pray that song over you. Just continue to trust and pray to God for he has a plan for you. Even though it may be hard you just need to be patient and trust him. You aren't going through this alone. And you will get through this because God would never give you something you can't get through or overcome. Stay in it. It may be a long journey, but it is so worth it.
Raise her feet, have her sip on a Sprite or Ginger ale, and keep ice packs readily available if possible. I'm a former phlebotomist and worked at a local blood bank for 9 1/2 yrs... People would come in to donate even though they were likely to pass out. We would prep them before they even started giving blood just to make sure and hopefully prevent passing out. Thank the for the nurse who helped. ❤️ Awe... Banks is the sweetest!! Dogs just know, I miss my dog... She always knew when I was upset or sick. I used to have the exact same issue with passing out...I agree with bringing a little snack to eat right after (I always brought dark chocolate and sometimes would even have bites during) but the most important thing is to BREATTHEEE, nice slow deeeep breaths :) that has helped me so much I was just able to donate blood for the first time and made it all the way through!! I have got the same problem! Be it blood drawn or an injection , i pass out a few minutes after getting a shot .. am not really that scared of blood but this fact to this day surprises me! Whenever I go for a 💉 shot both my mom and dad come along with me 😂❤️

GIRL! I FEEL YOU!! I have always passed out when it comes to those things. There have been times when I walked out thinking I was good and then ended up having to lay down flat on a sidewalk. But I’m proud to say I am SO MUCH BETTER now! So here’s what I do for blood draws!! I have a little bag with an apple juice box, a lollipop and a granola bar. When you pass out it’s because your blood sugar drops really low so when you put sugar in your system, it will prevent you from passing out. So even when I feel like I did good at the blood draw, I drink a juice box on my way to the car or stick a lollipop in my mouth so that I’m constantly taking in bits of sugar. The other thing that helps is cold water! So I bring a thing of cold water with me too. And the last thing is breathing really slowly and deeply! You got this! I promise it’ll get better! ❤️

This made my heart so happy so I can’t imagine how you guys feel. I have a few rare medical conditions and one makes me pass out daily and I have to get weekly infusions of fluids. The best thing I can say with needles and passing out is make sure to have some compassion for yourself. It’s okay for these things to be difficult. You have nothing to prove. You are a light to everyone around you and you are being so tough and brave. If all you can do is feel those warning signs and get down safely that’s okay. If you can figure out tips on how to not pass out at all even better. Just take care of yourself and Dallin. That’s all that’s important. You are always so kind to everyone else; make sure you save some of it for yourself. 💛

Most labs offer orange juice and crackers with peanut butter if you tell them you have a history of passing out. I would think a specialty doctors office lab would for sure.
When I’ve donated blood, they’ve always had snacks for after people have donated, but I make sure to eat something substantial beforehand too. Fortunately I’m ok with blood tests, I just can’t watch it happening.
I am the same way with needles and also went though infertility! The best tips I've learned are to have a blood draw when you are laying down if possible. Whenever I have to give blood sitting up it takes me soooo much longer to recover. I'm sure you know this by now, but also DO NOT RUSH sitting up. Take it slow and give yourself a lot of time before you fully stand up. I've also had a nurse give me an alcohol wipe to smell while I was doing a blood draw which helped! Having a sugary drink on hand to drink right after can also help you perk up faster! For me the more blood draws I've had, the better it gets:) I'm currently pregnant with identical triplets from our second IUI and I can tell you with 100% certainty that all the blood draws are worth it. Rooting for you on this journey! You got this and you can handle all the needles!

Its so weird I also faint or am close to it when I get my blood drawn. I dont have a fear of needles tho. Still, some things that have helped me not pass out are a fan in my face and electrolyte drinks like propel or Gatorade will instantly make you feel better. So happy for you two! Same!!! For the getting blood drawn and I don't have a problem with shots or seeing blood (with average exceptions) its just seems to be when it is purposefully extracted and/or kept in a container
I pray one day it happens for you two! I'm twenty and I was recently with premature ovarian insufficiency/failure. It is essentially premature menopause, and I was told I would unlikely ever have children only a 5% chance, and it was not genetics for me just all of the sudden. It took me six months to grieve and get over everything that happened. Not ever having a relationship before, I thought no guy would want me if I’m infertile before marriage, or because I might have a more complicated time conceiving. But when Dallin said in this video that he would have married Bella regardless it gave me so much hope that I will find someone the same! The video you posted really helped me because seeing Dallin so supportive gave me confidence that even though I have this diagnosis before marriage, god willing I will find someone just as supportive as Dallin is to he is amazing and kept you positive always I really pray for you guys God bless you guys and I pray it works out in the end, you guys are great people and inspirations so I know God has a good plan for you.

Bella, I’m terrible with getting my blood drawn too. I’ve fainted several times, but In the most recent times I haven’t fainted. What has helped me is telling the nurses ahead of time and asking if I can lay down, then I put in some head phones listen to music and make sure I don’t look. Just breathe slowly and try to relax and make sure you have food for after ❤️ I hope it gets easier for you. Fainting is horrible
I'm 17 years old, suffering from pcos. The thing is, when is was diagnosed, my biggest concern was all the hair I need to get rid of (iykyk). But for a couple of months now, I've thought about how tf I want to get pregnant later on, when I've been taking birth control for years and when my ovaries are scarred from the disease itself. It's something many women suffer from, more than one might think. And I love how you had the courage to "publish" it. Just like you planned, you're not only helping people in a similar situation, but you're giving hope. I know, even if it doesn't feel like that sometimes, you two (and especially you Bells, have the strength to get through this. You've come so far in your life, this isn't something that's gonna stop you. It might be hard, but it's no stop. Best wishes for the two (or hopefully soon three+) of you from GER ❤️

Try drinking lots of water beforehand. It will make it quicker and you are less likely to pass out. I used to pass out getting blood work done, and I learned to drink lots of water beforehand, and it really helped. I have not passed out since.

GIRL! I FEEL YOU!! I have always passed out when it comes to those things. There have been times when I walked out thinking I was good and then ended up having to lay down flat on a sidewalk. But I’m proud to say I am SO MUCH BETTER now! So here’s what I do for blood draws!! I have a little bag with an apple juice box, a lollipop and a granola bar. When you pass out it’s because your blood sugar drops really low so when you put sugar in your system, it will prevent you from passing out. So even when I feel like I did good at the blood draw, I drink a juice box on my way to the car or stick a lollipop in my mouth so that I’m constantly taking in bits of sugar. The other thing that helps is cold water! So I bring a thing of cold water with me too. And the last thing is breathing really slowly and deeply! You got this! I promise it’ll get better! ❤️

This made my heart so happy so I can’t imagine how you guys feel.
I have a few rare medical conditions and one makes me pass out daily and I have to get weekly infusions of fluids. The best thing I can say with needles and passing out is make sure to have some compassion for yourself. It’s okay for these things to be difficult. You have nothing to prove. You are a light to everyone around you and you are being so tough and brave. If all you can do is feel those warning signs and get down safely that’s okay. If you can figure out tips on how to not pass out at all even better. Just take care of yourself and Dallin. That’s all that’s important. You are always so kind to everyone else; make sure you save some of it for yourself. 💛

I'm so glad she's ok. As an RN, I'm wondering if she's hypoglycemic? (Low blood sugar) I definitely think taking a snack of protein would help before she gets up. Sending much love ❤ and so glad again she's good! 🤗🥰
Most labs offer orange juice and crackers with peanut butter if you tell them you have a history of passing out. I would think a specialty doctors office lab would for sure.
When I’ve donated blood, they’ve always had snacks for after people have donated, but I make sure to eat something substantial beforehand too. Fortunately I’m ok with blood tests, I just can’t watch it happening.

I am the same way with needles and also went though infertility! The best tips I've learned are to have a blood draw when you are laying down if possible. Whenever I have to give blood sitting up it takes me soooo much longer to recover. I'm sure you know this by now, but also DO NOT RUSH sitting up. Take it slow and give yourself a lot of time before you fully stand up. I've also had a nurse give me an alcohol wipe to smell while I was doing a blood draw which helped! Having a sugary drink on hand to drink right after can also help you perk up faster!
For me the more blood draws I've had, the better it gets:) I'm currently pregnant with identical triplets from our second IUI and I can tell you with 100% certainty that all the blood draws are worth it. Rooting for you on this journey! You got this and you can handle all the needles!

Its so weird I also faint or am close to it when I get my blood drawn. I dont have a fear of needles tho. Still, some things that have helped me not pass out are a fan in my face and electrolyte drinks like propel or Gatorade will instantly make you feel better. So happy for you two! Same!!! For the getting blood drawn and I don't have a problem with shots or seeing blood (with average exceptions) its just seems to be when it is purposefully extracted and/or kept in a container
I pray one day it happens for you two! I'm twenty and I was recently with premature ovarian insufficiency/failure. It is essentially premature menopause, and I was told I would unlikely ever have children only a 5% chance, and it was not genetics for me just all of the sudden. It took me six months to grieve and get over everything that happened. Not ever having a relationship before, I thought no guy would want me if I’m infertile before marriage, or because I might have a more complicated time conceiving. But when Dallin said in this video that he would have married Bella regardless it gave me so much hope that I will find someone the same! The video you posted really helped me because seeing Dallin so supportive gave me confidence that even though I have this diagnosis before marriage, god willing I will find someone just as supportive as Dallin is to he is amazing and kept you positive always I really pray for you guys God bless you guys and I pray it works out in the end, you guys are great people and inspirations so I know God has a good plan for you.

Bella, I’m terrible with getting my blood drawn too. I’ve fainted several times, but In the most recent times I haven’t fainted. What has helped me is telling the nurses ahead of time and asking if I can lay down, then I put in some head phones listen to music and make sure I don’t look. Just breathe slowly and try to relax and make sure you have food for after ❤️ I hope it gets easier for you. Fainting is horrible

I'm 17 years old, suffering from pcos. The thing is, when is was diagnosed, my biggest concern was all the hair I need to get rid of (iykyk). But for a couple of months now, I've thought about how tf I want to get pregnant later on, when I've been taking birth control for years and when my ovaries are scarred from the disease itself.
It's something many women suffer from, more than one might think.
And I love how you had the courage to "publish" it. Just like you planned, you're not only helping people in a similar situation, but you're giving hope.
I know, even if it doesn't feel like that sometimes, you two (and especially you Bells, have the strength to get through this.
You've come so far in your life, this isn't something that's gonna stop you. It might be hard, but it's no stop.

Try drinking lots of water beforehand. It will make it quicker and you are less likely to pass out. I used to pass out getting blood work done, and I learned to drink lots of water beforehand, and it really helped. I have not passed out since.
