YES! Back in the day Paralyze was my go-to "removal spells". it dosn't kill, but by the time the opponent as enough mana to untap it hes allready on the clock.
Lester knows best. Paralyze is SICK backed up by a clock and discard. Played it along side my Negators WITH Sinister Strength back in the day in. Back breaking.
Must haves that, in my opinion, should be included in a Premodern Suicide Black deck: Hatred (main), Kaerverk's Spite (main), Cursed Scroll (main) and Nevinyrral's Disk (at least one in main) Again, it's just my opinion.
In game 1, the first card played by monoblack player was a mesmeric fiend? Why could he cast it on turn 2 with sphere on play? Edit: ok, my bad. I didn't see dark ritual on graveyard, video apparently was cut here :s

I love everything about this format. Except maybe that it lacks Workshop, but that is probably for the best.
