    The punch to Jordan Poole 🥊 is what damaged Draymonds image and got everyone questioning the *MAN* and not the player. SAS just said what everyone with common sense was thinking at the time. The only person to blame is Draymond himself. You can be the local pastor but if you knock out one of the Choir Members it kind of changes that perception. You’ve got to earn it back.

      Naww ..I disagree.....Referring to the Jordan punch .......It didn't damage anything for me.... You almost never see in-club fist fighting to that extreme.. Now we don't hardly know anything that goes on behind the scenes so we can't say 100% that it never happens.... But I bet you dollars to donuts that this was a one off for anyone team in the league..If not 100% then it's 99.9999 %..that it never happens...
      What it means is Poole went to a place that he shouldn't have been.. He was known to talk junk..If you are with a group on a team as brothers you don't go to that place.. Bottom line is that Dray wouldn't have done what he did if it wasn't real personal..

    • @df6148
      @df6148 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@centaur70 The critical difference is that it *WAS* seen. It was recorded. And that’s why this damaged his public perception beyond any what ifs or what should’ve could’ve happened behind scenes. Because that clip is up. Jordan Poole is now gone. And the warriors are getting older. Draymond can’t blame SAS or anybody else but himself. He needs to have SELF control. There’s really no other way to sugar coat it.

      Modern day Jekyll & Hyde....Outside the court, he talks softly and gently and acts civilized but on the playing court, he's like a neanderthal or wild animal, who cannot control their emotions/temper and resorts to violence.

      @@df6148 ........I don't think it damaged his image more than what it already has been... lol.... per everyone else .. Not for me though.. .Recorded or not yeah everyone saw it but JP needs to control his mouth also...Dray wouldn't have hit a teammate if it wasn't extremely personal.. But seriously if you think that punch is what damaged his image than you have no clue..

    This model of separation between character and career is a deceptive talking point I have heard over and over by basketball players, and it deceives them into thinking offensive actions on the basketball court doesn't reflect who they are. It absolutely does. In fact, the punch to Jordan Poole was completely personal and had very little to do with a basketball court.
    For the sake of your wholesale development as a human being, understand everything you do at anytime at all is a reflection of your personal character and belief system. No two ways about it.

    Being a professional, and being an adult people respect, is about acting respectable when times are good, or bad.
    Everybody has issues. People in the NBA have them too, not just Draymond. The things he does, on the court, to other players, there is no excuse for. Either you are a pro, or you're not. Either you are someone people can respect, or you're not.

    So he was expecting you to go on national TV and defend his foolishness? No matter what was going on in his life. He was acting absolutely ridiculous.

    Draymond needed to apologize because Stephen A was probably the reason why Draymond got resigned for over a 100 mill. SAS was probably the only one advocating for him to get paid when we clearly saw the decline of the warriors coming and there was really no reason to resign him but they did snd I believe SAS played a good role in that so he should be thanking him honestly
