Beautiful kennel build. I just build something like this maybe a bit smaller, total cost was $300. Average person doesn't have stuff just laying around like he said just waiting to get used. He didn't even mention the parts he used for the door lol.
Seems like everyone that's complaining is not a farmer or in any trade. You can definitely find materials for free just gotta look in the right spots. I've got over 100 ft of the wire for free wood scraps from home depot and neighbors
I've torn down several fences for people to get the free fencing material. People are lazy, you can get all kinds of things if you'll help people clean up or tear down buildings.
The wire mesh itself would run more than $50. Between that and the lumber, I estimate the total cost at around $250. For $500 you can get a real chain link fenced 6x10 prefab dog run that is six foot high with a top fence to keep the dog from jumping out. I suggest going with the latter.
Not if he already had the stuff around the property I made 2 large kennels one for my cats one for my dogs, the cats is like 6 ft wide and 10 ft tall the dogs one end is 5 ft tall by 10 foot wide other end is 10x10. Did them both for a total of 10 bucks all I had to buy was another roll of chicken wire and a roll of tie wire. Used old dog kennels and parts from old metal dog crates . Are they beautiful. No far from it but they do what they are intended to do gives my animals a safe secure place to go outside and get the much needed vitamins from the sun they need and enjoy the weather when they want
It must be nice to have a roll of metal mesh and any dog can tear apart the thin wire mesh, even a little dog! That alone with the 2x4 frame already done would cost more than $50
I work at a dog kennel and we use the thin wire mesh in areas where the kennels were really old since it’s been open since 1933. Big dogs go out it all the time, has still been holding up. Huskys tend to go the craziest on it trying to paw out. And if it breaks it’ll be cheap n easy to fix
@@iWontSeeYourReplies you would still spend more than $50 on it and it wouldn't be very hard for any of the dogs to injure themselves on chicken wire, you've just been lucky to not have any injuries.
Yeah, right , under $50..Home Depot sales chicken wire for $90 , I just checked. Not to mention wood planks, bricks and everything else that needs for building. 😏
Just the wire we need for the build is over $200, 2x6x8 are about 3.25 a pop so around $60 in wood. Screws and all your looking at close to $300

Probably have this laying around in my backyard already easy to do. My nephew could do it. Thanks for the tutorial
Wow that came out pretty nice, I think this summer I’m going to give that a try! Thanks for the video
i love this! I may construct one myself. I would love to see how you constructed the door!

I LOVE HOW U USE A 30 K TRACTOR TO BUILD A 50 DOLLAR DOG HOUSE
I need to hang out with this happy feller!
Doesn't the charred wood make your hands all black when you tough it?

What are those bags?
Very useful! Thank you 🙏
How did he secure the structure to the ground
so exactly how many layer of wire or rebar are we talkin for this concrete you speak of
What are all the materials used and length and sizes
What is the tube like stuff you are putting on the side of the Kennel?
Bamboo 👌
I build one for 5 bucks, had all the material already and bought some nails which was $5. Save yourself $495
how he added the door
i didnt see this be my first building
The doggggge🚀🚀
w video
Great video but please put a rubber mat down for her. Standing on concrete and bricks cause arthritis in dogs. It wears them down pretty quickly.
Looks great, What are the dimensions of this, thinking of making one myself
2.5m long x 1.5m width x 2m height
Only thing is my dogs would rip that wire up. But if I used something more rugged it’d work
That wire u need bolt cutters, what dogs u got dire wolves?! 🤣
@@FieldtoFarm_UK well kinda I swear my male could easily jump a 12 fly fence
So could mine that's why it has a roof 🤣 it's a 50kg canae corso in the thumbnail pic living in it
@@FieldtoFarm_UK yea I’d feel safer with a roof
I’m looking at becoming a breeder for purebred and might build a spare room or two to become a kennel
Great work
How did you make the door?
Honestly it looks pretty simple to me, no need to explain.
Yeah would have loved to see the door part
Do you deliver

Lol
Right the wire over a 100 bucks itself
I get free 2m lengths of 50x50x5 angle so I could
*than
great house for Lady! any chance you could share how you built the door! working on mine right now! please!!
I just nailed the wire to a rectangle frame 👌
Where did you order the wire mesh from?
I got it free but its 2m x 25m roll of 10 gauge wire 2 inch holes
Ricky Gervais, I didn't know you had a dog?
$50 if you already have all the wood and wire mesh or find it second hand.
Water bowl needs better upkeep, more toys for enrichment and bedding so she doesn’t sleep in the concrete full time.
Our concrete companies would never leave any thing like that
It would go to the next job...
Good job
I'd love a little bit of land out the way to live with my dogs 😑 too expensive to buy tho

That’s why you teach your dog NOT to tear it up
The dog will never beable to tear through that mesh its used for construction

Soooo, you stole the wire 😂
Gifted it is the words ur looking for 🤣
If you’re not a carpenter, forget it!
He says the wire by it self will cost 50$ if you watch the video
Prices change over time.
the wood you used is rotted and any dog could escape that get a metal dog kennel
If it was raining and windy the rain blow in on dog.its great work but I don't think I like it for my dog
He did out of old wood he had it cost him 50 but not yall lol
50 pounds😅
😂😂😂50$
Im pooping watching lol ❤
Can guarantee you that you can do that for 50$ show receipt 🧾
I made this for free! 50 is roughly what the wood would cost new 👌
