Once upon a time we all thought it was a good idea to visit isle 3 at Autozone to pick up some not so trendy car mods that we now regret. But some of you didn't get the memo. I whole heartedly agree but when I was looking for 15s it's hard to find small wheels and even harder to find good tires in those sizes now smallest I can do is 17 lol
Beyond the obvious of takeovers, I think it's time for excessive stance to go. I've always been one for a more performance driven look, but I can respect the work that goes into it. Still, if your wheels have more degrees of negative camber than usable steering angle, it's time to stop.

I have two trends that need to stop.
1. Blacking out your tail lights. (Why is this still a thing)
2. Undercar LEDs and mall crawlers leaving their fenderwell lights on while they go inside the store.( SO LAME!)

These three are all on my list but I think my #1 would be stance on cool cars. There’s nothing that hurts me more than seeing a 240 or anything of value grinding it’s frame away on the highway.
Half of them have front tube chassis anyways. So sad what people do to them and how much they want for a rusty clapped out rolling shell.

Something I did when I got a new Thunderbird super coupe this year was get a bigger pulley on the block end, cold air intake, and replace the stock muffler with a longer and slimmer one, It makes the engine noise much quieter but the supercharger whine really easy to hear. It sounds better than any hellcat out there

I think interior pieces with forged carbon look nice but sometimes it does look like shiny black painted plywood for the body

Never been a fan of the way forged carbon looks, chameleon wrap is definitely over done now, and wheels over 11 inches are crazy.. ❤
My 1st car was a 1986 Gen 2 VW Scirocco that I got when I was 18 in 1989, then after a few years I had bought a 1981 Gen 1 VW Scirocco. I’m 53 now and BOTH are sitting in my garage and both are car show winners as well as a 1995 VW Corrado that I bought in 2002 that I’m currently in the process of getting car show ready as well. I do drive them occasionally also. So my biggest trend that has to go, are the people who buy ANY Maxima, Camry, Altima, Sentra, and especially a Honda Civic after the year 2000 and customize it while thinking you have this cool JDM 😂😅 To me, that’s like painting a trash can and putting new handles on it. Just about anyone who works at Wendy’s could afford buying one and getting parts from Amazon😂 The ONLY real cool cars are the ones that aren’t easy to come by! The whole Fast & Furious franchise is what started the “it’s cool as long as it’s customized” trend.

Anything with enough camber that the entire contact patch does not touch the ground. Along with that, tires more narrow than the wheel was designed to fit. Oh, and of course squatted trucks!

I like a carbon fiber hood. Idk about it on the rest of the car, like I've seen it on side view mirrors which Im not really into but I think with just the hood it looks cool.
Regular carbon fiber still fine right🥷🏻, was planning slapping a CF hood and a pair of CF Fenders on mine…
As far as wheels go , with size and camber I don't even see how most of the ones I've seen can even be legal, from a safety perspective.

Let's get one thing straight - swapping out body parts for carbon fiber ones equals less weight, that's the purpose of the thing, right? Forged carbon details on the other hand are mostly just for looks tho, right? (also less weight but come on how much does that stock fake air vent on the supra actually weigh......)
Keeping this in mind I think forged carbon looks MUCH better in the interior of the car like parts of the dash, the wheel, gear lever etc. plus it's gonna be a lot cheaper than doing a whole hood for example...
Fun fact: in my country (not a big one tho - Serbia) there is only one guy who does forged carbon... And (off topic) there is also only ONE GUY who knows how to build/fix a rotary engine, one fucking guy xD
I think it’s just the overall look rather than weaved carbon fiber. Became an over saturated and was put on any thing. Sure i see your point but I’ve always liked the way weaved carbon looked rather than forged.

Mines a whole ass build, but the cars that are static, stanced Hella hard and have stretched tires on wide wheels and wings you'll never need. Those builds are pointless and must be stopped

But wraps are SUPPOSE to be a cheaper way of getting a different color. Literally the reason for it, plus you can remove it to go back to factory or change the color again without having to get it re-painted.....

Just get regalar carbon. Looks better and is probably cheaper. Some clean wheels for a IS would definitely be some Kansei Tandems or Work Cr Kai wheels.
