Hello. I am not residence in Sweden but I was 3 years before and I have personnummer. I can log in to skatterveket my bank account etc. Now I will move back but as I know I still have my personnummer but I have to register again as a resident in Sweden. Does anyone know what do I need to do?

what if the person who will study in Sweden will live at a relative's or partner's house? How will that work if the person needs a rental agreement in order to get personnummer? Let's say this person moves in with his girlfriend who is renting an apartment. In order for him to be registered that he has moved in he must have his personnummer, right?
Thanks for your question Dirkrol. You need to apply for the personnummer after coming to Sweden. If you are admitted to a two-year course then it's better to apply straight away after coming to Sweden since it takes a bit of time to get the personnummer.

I'd recommend you get in touch with the Swedish Tax Authority (Skatteverket) regarding this question.

You can but you'll need to get a Samordningsnummer to work if you don't have a Swedish personal identity number.

Skatverket there people's they no work with honesty. Mostly are silly people's doesn't know about rule and regulations
