Sonoma Land Trust's Teen STEM Program: Conservation Council

Sonoma Land Trust's Conservation Council program inspires the next generation of environmental leaders by engaging high school students in scientific research and conservation efforts within Sonoma County. Participants enter with a passion for science and nature and graduate with a heightened awareness of STEM careers and a deeper understanding of the scientific process. Remarkably, after participating in the program, 75% of graduates report that they are more likely to pursue a conservation career, and 80% feel empowered to become scientists or conservationists.
