ok! so, kaeya was born in a place called khaen'ria (i dont know if thats how you spell it) and one day the archons destroyed it, so, kaeya and a few others were the only survivors. kaeya’s dad took him to mondstadt (where diluc lives) and left him there to spy or whatever. so, diluc’s father, master crepus, took kaeya in and kaeya and diluc became adoptive brothers. (no one knowing about kaeya being a spy) then... master crepus died on diluc’s 18th birthday and diluc and kaeya were devastated. and well, kaeya decided to tell diluc the truth..that he was a spy, and one day he would have to choose between khaen'ria and teyvat diluc didnt react well and almost killed kaeya, but, luckily the gods blessed kaeya with a vision (which is something that holds elemental power, in kaeya’s case he got cryo, which is ice, people get it when they feel unloved, mistreated or abandoned) sooo diluc left at that.. ..and didnt come back for 4 years. although he kept kaeyas secret. until now 😭 (i hope you kind of understood that-)
