Heard this story before, covered by a channel here on TH-cam, one of those crimes you could listen to over and over and in my opinion a gruesome crime on a similar level to the Essex boys, but even though they caught these guys, I found this murder far more intriguing!!!!

I don’t see the Point in taking the risk and loosing my freedom to transport drugs for someone else, the reward is always some new clothes and a car, that’s all you can do in life really, buy a house and live, may as well get a job, as soon as he got paid for shifting the drugs, all he did was go and buy something with the money, this is all BS, people deal to buy a pair of Nike and a BMW, waste of time!
Depending on the trip payment can range between £500 and a few grand per trip. You’d be shocked at the money involved in it all. Once the first goes off without any trouble it seems like easy money

I used to graft with a close associate of Ross. He told me what happened about 6 weeks before they raided a local traveller site and found blood of the victims in a shower unit of a caravan on the site. From what I know they were making death and rape threats to Ross and Tom. Another gruesome fact is when they found the van the bodies were so badly burned they only thought one of them was in the van. As it turned out one had disintergrated into the footwell. Brutal stuff.

Farmer definitely wasn't thick... I mean the raid two weeks after was probably orchestrated by him so he was arrested and had to make the confession...
I doubt it he could of just removed the product and then confessed if that was his intention all along. I think whoever the enforcers worked for knew they was there. I can’t imagine they would turn up to the meeting without telling their bosses about it first. Whoever they worked for would of probably been the only other people to know the plantation was there. The place was raided just two weeks after the murders. My guess is they got scared that they would be next and got someone to put in an anonymous call to the police saying there was cannabis being grown at the property in order to get them sent down for the weed and also guessing there was a good chance the bodies were probably buried somewhere on the farm as well. Yes they had to take a small loss on the weed but at least they had got the police to remove the threat without having to get their hands dirty themselves and go through all the hassle of disposing of bodies and risk going down for murder themselves. That’s my guess anyway

I think, if the young boys would’ve had a top solicitor they wouldn’t have got the life sentence they did. I know they were involved in that life and they shouldn’t have been, but at the end of the day it was at a point where their families were visited personally by these guys with intimidation and threats. The two young drug runners had only two options turn grass or deal with them just as they would have been dealt with in the same way. Such an unfortunate chain of events, I certainly don’t condone any of it but I feel unfortunately if they hadn’t done what they did it would’ve been them underground instead.

I was in HMP Exeter in 2012 with Ross. He was a polite quiet guy who was simply pushed over the edge.
