Thank you so much I appreciate people like you for this through educational video you real helped me in a bind with the removal of the sensor thanks again..God bless stay safe ..will be following
I did the same but my brake piston came out . That was a headache then i put back by pushing somehow but now another problem my parking brake malfunction warning ⚠️ came on . Any idea 💡 how to fix that
DO NOT DO THE REAR BRAKES LIKE THIS…there is a way for the car to automatically disengage the rear parking brake. Doing it this way will cause the cars parking brake to no longer work
It does, put the car ignition key on start but don't turn the car on, leave drivers door open and then pull the ebrake button 3 times up then push it 3 times down and the rear brakes release.
Make sure to hold down the button for atleast 10 seconds and youll hear the piston start to unwind. It will take a while for it to fully unwind about 15 seconds. If it only operates for 2-4 seconds then you need to repeat the steps because the parking brake only released and hasnt unwound fully.
These are the sorts of questions a video should address by speaking. Sort of like explaining the whole part about the electronic parking brake piece and why he did not put it in service mode instead of taking it apart and doing some other procedure using visuals only
I would lubricate, swap out the rotors and clean everything very well. Rookie job.
