Some features we need in JavaScript which are important: 1) TreeSet 2) TreeMap 3) MultiSet 4) SortedList 5) Stack 6) Queue 7) Dequeue 8) Heap/Priority Queue As a frontend developer I use JavaScript for DSA and my coding interviews but JS lacks these basics data structures. I think as the language is evolving, we must add these features to it.
I'm very excited to know that JavaScript is going to have a Decimal type like C# and other languages also do. Very helpful when working with financial values. I also liked very much the Intl.MessageFormat feature. Good things coming soon.
@@MachineYearning indeed his accent is far easier to understand to let's say a british or american one; his pronunciations are quite phonetic (hence I'm guessing the accuracy of the subtitles)
@@souls.7033 You are delusional if you think his accent is easier to understand than a Brit or an American. It's understandable but his pronunciations are off a lot.
That’s weird because the auto closed captions picked what he was saying just fine. Guess you weren’t smart enough to exhaust all of the resources at your disposal. I’m guessing you’re a boot camp dev over a degree kinda guy? You give off that vibe.

1. pipe operator
2. pattern matching
3. records & tuples
4. temporal
are greatly missing in JavaScript.
Pipe, records & tuples are nice to haves. Pattern Matching and Temporal are a long overdue must!
I just want to avoid writing"this" every time i want to write a variable inside a class.
example: this.player.x + this.player.body > this.bot.x...
@@isaidstream4547 can't you do : const self = this.player;
and then
self.x + self.body
I guess I'll keep waiting for pipe operator and pattern matching
yeah exactly! those are features we need
😭 me too
Love the MessageFormat proposal! So needed on the Intl API. 🎊

Nicolo awesome talk.. The work you folks do keep the web what it is..
You guys are doing really great job. Keep it up...
Great hair!
I so wait pipeline operator, but it looks like it never will be implemented
Still waiting on for the pipe operator 💀
need a t-shirt now that says "Where is the right place to put the cheese?"
So.... what about types?
TypeScript
@@Ccodebits haha actually would love baked in types
Come on JS devs, pattern matching!
this video make me think about that, "am i actually a js dev?"
Bring in real types and modern features call it javascript2 keep it separate from the old shit
Bro I can't even keep up with all the changes on the Web
github link?
Audio volume is very low. I couldn't hear the voice clearly. I saw the Isabela speech. It was good to hear. please check this issue.
What's the point of multi threading and raw memory optimizations when the bros are all using react? It's never going to be fast, lol.
I hope next thing coming to javascript will be its removal
In your deam

Wish I could follow your talk but I can't understand what you're saying. Moving right along...
