my favorite thing from this act: definitely the clothes store employee doing that freaking octave jump in the opening number, like WHAT?? most outstanding ensemble performance ive seen from any production of lbtm for sure
every time i return there are a million more comments. this is hands down THE BEST production of Legally Blonde I have ever seen. Alexa embodies the role of Elle in a completely unique way and the entire ensemble killed it. The set is incredible and portions of this show exceeded that of the original broadway cast. I would have killed to see this in person, but nonetheless I will continue to watch this repeatedly on the regular.
I've watched a lot of Legally Blonde productions, and man--- the talent! It seems like most forget the male casts, but in this production, Emmett, Warner, Callahan, and the rest of the male casts are equally as talented. Good job!
Those who are playing the characters of Warner and Emmett!!! Fudge!!! Their voices are on point especially to Emmett even his speaking voice. This is just the act 1 and I so love watching it😍😍😍 talented casts!!!
The acting and vocal performances are so good it had me wondering if this was just a regular theatre performance and had to check the description only to realise this is a university production
I have to say, as someone who has seen many productions of LB - this is by far near the top. The talent in this show is literally undeniable. Well done. Already watched this production 6-7 times haha.
this is one of my favourite productions of LB I've ever seen and I literally squealed when I saw you posted a higher quality version! are you planning on posting act two aswell?
Super talented cast!! Warner that can sing so good and oh wow Emmett's speaking and singing voice is close to the original one. Also Elle Woods, you are so talnted. The diction is clear and acting is not awkward. Wow i really enjoyed watching this even tbough probably watched LB the musical for the nth time!! ☺😅

Callahan killed "Blood in the water" jesus, this is one of the best Callahans I've seen. They do a really good job of exuding the cruel yet classy personality he has.
As someone who is seeing LB production for the first time i definitely feel that I would change a few things but other than that…AMAZING, especially their voices. You did very good: )
Every time I see a musical version of Legally Blonde (or the movie, for that matter), it amazes me how they took such awful characters with no redeeming arc from the original book and made them so likable. It really is remarkable.
Anyone know why blood in the water is so fast? The rest is amazing but Callahans performance feels very emotionless and quite short and flat and I’m usually a massive fan of that role and especially the song blood in the water! could have been better casted but amazing from everyone else
My school had a greater production, and a larger budget. When I saw the performance, it was unfulfilling. The story was good, but the actors didn't quite hit the lines well. Watching this, I realized you don't need an insane budget to have a great show! The lines were executed well, the jokes landed very well, and I was more attached with the characters. More doesn't mean better!
my favorite thing from this act: definitely the clothes store employee doing that freaking octave jump in the opening number, like WHAT?? most outstanding ensemble performance ive seen from any production of lbtm for sure
Omigod right?! I’m glad I wasn’t the only one super impressed with that octave jump!
Do you have a timestamp?! I’ve rewatched this video so many times and yet I can never catch what you mean.

This freaking cast is freaking talented.
The set the choreo the singing the acting the comedic timing the energy it’s all DELICIOUS
Am I the only one who thinks that Elle would be a PERFECT Heather Chandler??? This cast is so amazing!
THE LIGHTING IS SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD

not only is this cast AMAZING this set is absolutely beautiful! amazing production
Literal chills the ENTIRE time!! Loved this!
THE SET IS INCREDIBLE
The actor of Enid Hoops is amazing and so spot on!!!
Oh my god you guys! I actually saw this live! And it was AMAZING! Thanks for letting me relive it!
The set and the light is just amazing
This is such an interesting way to build the set with the seats all around, I love it!
Meu deus, que produção! Que elenco! Uma das melhores versões, com certeza!
OMGoodness! This is really, really fantastic. Professor Callahan was absolutely amazing! Brava to you all!
Really ? I found he was probably one of the worst ones I’ve seen!
Adore your set! Bravo!
elle’s energy is so awesome
This isn’t the audience you guys deserved! I would’ve been yelling the whole show! So good! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
It’s a musical not a concert lol
@@itscalebbarrera you’ve obviously never been in a good show with a good audience, and that’s ok friend…. Do better :)
@@krystalkade3249 how is it a good show when you can’t even hear the performance because the audience is loud asf
@@itscalebbarrera just say your shows suck and move on dude.
During musicals, most people get upset if the audience is making constant noise. Especially when broke people like me actually get to go.
Absolutely incredible - hard to believe it's a university production and not professional!!
The audience is dead for no reason YALL did great
How does this not have A MILLION VIEWS ITS SO GOOD ITS LITERALLY LIKE TOP NOTCH AHH
this Prof. Callahan is amazing omg
Every single one of the is ON POINT!!! THE EMSEMBLE???? PERFECT!!! Does anyone know which University this was produced in?
Northwestern!
As someone who is seeing LB production for the first time i definitely feel that I would change a few things but other than that…AMAZING, especially their voices. You did very good: )
what a voice emmet has
Only a minute in and i know this gonna be good
They are sooooo good. Elle and Emmet are the best ❤️
This Warner is KILLING it
Wow this is amazing
this is absolutely amazing!!!!!!
This is really good!! but why did they change the lyrics in Ireland?
It's the alternate version. It's been used for the London run and I think the tour
What an amazing cast. Anyone notice Vivian almost fell when sitting down before Blood in the water? Nice recovery!
love this SOOOOOO much
ok that emmett is AMAZING ❤️

Thanks for sharing!! This is great!
Does Callahan's actor have any sns?
faving this to watch later it looks good
this emmett is so fucking good
Omg I've never seen a musical stage like this 😳
Incredible
what is the girl that plays elle 's name ? she is incredible
his is amazing but why film if it isn’t going to be a front and center angle 😭😭😭
What university is this? This is so good!!
Northwestern!
I'm a bit confused with some of the staging. There seems to be a lot of times the actors have their back to the audience
Well it is a three quarter thrust - at some point the actors’ backs will be facing some part of the audience
Anyone know why blood in the water is so fast? The rest is amazing but Callahans performance feels very emotionless and quite short and flat and I’m usually a massive fan of that role and especially the song blood in the water! could have been better casted but amazing from everyone else

blood in the water is amazing

@@Hookladder1406 northwestern!
@@nolanrobinson5825 Amazing! With Holly Hinchliffe in the cast? I just saw her on Chicago Fire tonight!! So cool :)
Why is there a cage around the stage?
To keep the audience from the stage

No one is trying to.
Screeching singing, no thanks!
