This is exactly how my childhood was spent. Every summer means roadtrips to provinces for beaches. I spent my childhood digging sand for different sea creatures and of course, gulping sea water. Hahahah Fun times!

Camping was something I used to do alot with my family when I was a kid, then my siblings and I became adults and my parents got older, so we weren't able to do it anymore. I miss Camping. and btw SEMI!!! The sound of them makes me happy. Because they are a sign of summer. But, hey aren't as loud here, where I live in the states.
I actually have lived in Funabashi City for a few years and been to Chiba City a few times, but never been to the southern part of Chiba Prefecture before. So I could enjoy the episode 69th. Thank you By the way, I was surprised at how empty the beaches in Katsuura were. I wonder purhaps because the goverment asks the public to refrain from unnecessary and not hasty trips due to covid19 and I guess if an average year without covid 19, it must be much more crowded this time of year.
The summer is extremely hot, and the temperature is over 35℃ every day. It was just good for camping. How was the comfort of the tent? The beach and the inner sea of the bay seemed to be calm and safe, but the waves of the open sea were huge. The girls said the waves hit us directly. It was nice to see the kids enjoying the campfire for two nights and three days in Chiba Prefecture during this time.
If you guys like beaches then please try some Izu islands or Ogasawara islands. The water is super clear and you can see the deep ocean bottom which is covered by the remains of cooled down lava or something. I have been to Ooshima （大島） just off the Izu peninsula when I was a kid and I still remember the transparent deep ocean bottom. I bet the Ogasawara islands are much clearer since they are far off in the pacific ocean.

We were in the ocean all morning long (it's only a couple seconds on the video) but that wave capped then end of the morning! We kept saying "Let's get one big wave before going back." We sure did!

How many times did I and will I enjoy watching kids floating on such active waves? In order to find myself aged 10? Probably. I just felt as if I were watching myself 50 years yonger floating on just the same kind of waves off Hacijojo-Island floating on the Pacfic Ocean. With your video I'm so happy I could explain my daily activities in my boyhood.
Every time I see you guys... all I have a respect for your kids... your kids are living in different country,culture, and speaking different language...It must have been very hard on them...

All the kids seem very pleasant. You can chatch crabs there, and grill and eat them hahaha.

御宿も良いけど、九十九里浜まで行くと真横に永遠と伸びる迫力のある海岸を見れますよ。九十九里は日本一長い砂浜。
（青森県の猿ヶ森砂丘は本当は日本一だけど防衛省の管轄だから一般人は入れない）
知っておくと便利です。たぶん、いつかそのビーチが見えるかもしれません。
